Tatarstan power system has the highest level of electricity supply in the last 10 years. Since January 1 , 2006 the power supply outside Republic within this period reached 565 MW.

Reliable social sphere is an integral part of today’s management of the company especially in the power industry. "Tatenergo" is pursuing the active personnel and social policy, which major principles involve:
- Efficient use of human resources, intensive development of human resources, getting the optimal input from employees, their effective and safe labor organization, personnel skill upgrading;
- Promoting the necessary conditions for effective professional and personal development of personnel to the aim of their ability to work under conditions of the reforming industry;
- Practical realization of principles of social partnership and mutual responsibility of the parties in the relationships of representatives of the employer and representatives of employees;
- Further social development of the staff focusing on the interests of each employee to the aim of enhancing the quality of life of employees and their families; creation of system of social and labor rights and guarantees, developing the team approach in employees and awareness of the company attractiveness;
- Upgrading the work of the veteran and youth organizations of the company to the aim of provision of personnel renewal together with generation continuity, achieving of positive thinking in personnel, traditions keeping;
- Permanent dynamic development of personnel management system, meeting the strategic and current goals of company, on basis of development of progressive efficient systems of personnel motivation (tangible and intangible), optimization and reallocation of human resources inside of the company considering the objectives of reforms.
All of the social guarantees for the staff of the industry are stipulated in the Industry tariff agreement, which is signed on the annual basis to the Day of the Power engineer with the Republican trade -union "Tatelektroprofsoyuz" since 1993.
Modern social politics of "Tatenergo" is orientated to the availability of the social fare. The costs for social sphere privileges raise annually: bonuses to the retired personnel, lump sum payments when staff reach 50, 55, 60 years old, awarding payments to the staff who has worked long in the power system, payments to the women on maternity leave, quarterly material help to the retired, payments of the "nominal" pensions, payments to the Day of the Aged, congratulations of veterans with the birthday.
Health Care
JSC "Tatenergo" has paid big attention to the health of its staff. To date the personnel is covered by the additional medical insurance trough the "Insurance Group "ASKO" Ltd. The mandatory physicals are conducted, the treatment is organized within the amount of the policy.
To date, in the power system of Tatarstan 3 health care centers (LOK in Kazan, at Nab. Chelny CO-GENERATION PLANT an Niz Hydro plant), 10 camps.
The convenient location of the sanatorium LOK in one of the picturesque outskirts of Kazan made it the favorite place of the people of the power system and their families.
10 months a year the power system people get rested in the sanatorium "Zolotoy Kolos" (Sochi).
For rehabilitation after hard diseases the vouchers to the sanatoriums and health-care centers of Tatrstan and Russia are purchased.
Annually the free of charge tours of the retired to a sanatorium are organized. In 2004 for 264 retired staff of JSC "Tatenergo", veterans of WWII, veterans of the administrative troops the free rest and treatment was organized. 88 veterans of power system rested in sanatorium. 71 retired staff went to sanatorium "Kazanski", 105 rested in sanatorium "Pearl".
On the regular basis in the holidays in the health-care center the next tours are organized - "Mother and Child". The big demand is for the "Mother and Child" vouchers to the sanatorium "Zolotoi Kolos" (Sochi).
At the balance of JSC "Tatenergo" the 4 children health-care camps: "Druzhba" and "Prometey" in the outskirts of Kazan, "Energetik" in Zainsk and "Orlenok" in Nizhnekamsk.
Since 2003 the rest of children in the children health-care camp of the Health Complex "Solnechnaya" (Gelendzhik) has been organized. In 2004 209 children of the personnel of JSC "Tatenergo" rested at the banks of Gelendzhik bay at the Black sea.
The bulk of children of the personnel of JSC "Tatenergo" rest in the health-care country camps of our Republic (855 vouchers were purchased in 2004).
Sports
Administration of JSC "Tatenergo" pays much attention to sports activities. The JSC "Tatenergo" staff participate in various competitions. Within 6 years the competitions in 8 sports are held among the workers and the. The winner of the Spartan competitions among the workers became the Nizhnekamsk CO-GENERATION PLANT -1. The first place in VI Spartan competitions among the production commanders was awarded to the team of N.Chelny CO-GENERATION PLANT.
In branches of JSC "Tatenergo" the sports clubs are working. The Trade union committees and the administration rent the gyms and water pools fro regular sports activities.
The leading specialist of Security Office of Head-Quarters of JSC "Tatenergo" Vladimir Trofimov became the twice World’s Champion in arm-wrestling. He retirned from the Indian ocean with the 2 golden medals. The Worlds in arm-wrestling is held in. Durban SAR. 1 place in the Championship was taken by Russian team.
Festivals and Competetions
For the staff of the power system are traditionally held the festivals of the amateur talent groups, holidays, tours on the Volga river, visiting theaters, concerts, arts meetings, picture taking competitions, competitions for the title "the most green" work place, office etc.
A good tradition is to hold the competition of a child’s drawing "Power engineering Industry with the eyes of our children" together with the republican trade-union "Tatelektroprofsoyuz" for the Day of Power Industry.
All of the drawings were placed on the corporate site of JSC "Tatenergo". The best works were chosen by voting. The best drawings were hanging in the halls of the Head-Quarters before the professional holiday.
By the New Year the children in the power system receive the New Year presents and can take part in the holidays.
- In Nizhnekamsk the was a competetion of the amateur talent groups among the workers of JSC "Tatenergo", dedicated to 60-th anniversary of the Victory in WWII. In the summing concert over 200 artists from the power system took part. N.C. CO-GENERATION PLANT rated first.
- In December 2004 the electrician of Zainsk CONDENSATION PLANT Denis Verhoturtsev rated 1 - st (nomination – pop song) in the competition of amateur talent groups.
- At Zainsk CONDENSATION PLANT there was held the competetion "Miss Energiya - 2004" supported by administration of JSC "Tatenergo".
Youth Organization
In December 2003 the youth public of JSC "Tatenergo" was established. The first in history of the power system competetion for "Best Youth Organization of the industry". The youth organization of Kazan thermal grids became a winner.
Pursuant to "Statement for granting the target loan for provision of personnel of JSC "Tatenergo" with house", in 2004 the loan granting started for improvement of the housing conditions of the staff of JSC "Tatenergo". 300 families concluded the contracts and improved their housing conditions, including 28 young families prepare for a house warming party.
Veterans
JSC "Tatenergo" takes care of its retired people – veterans of the power industry, participants of WWII, workers of the administrative troops. They are paid the "inscribed" pension benefits, benefits for the Day of the Aged, quarterly additional payments. On the Day of the Aged the concerts, dinners, visits to the sick at their homes are organized.
Traditionally in the branches of JSC "Tatenergo" are organized various actions to the Victory Day: the meetings of the veterans, meetings, placing the flowers to the monuments of the perished in war etc. We help in repair of the apartments, provide the car when it is necessary, install telephones.
Charity
In 2004teh Charity Foundation "CARE" was organized for material and other help rendering:
- To the invalids both working and retired, but who worked in the power system but got disabled as a result of disease, professional disease or trauma,
- To the persons registered on the dispensary,
- Personnel in need of money for costly treatment and surgeries,
- Disabled children, whose parents work in the power system,
- To the other staff of the power system, who are in a critical situation.
Basic activities:
- charity;
- assisting with medicaments and food;
- rending the material help;
- payment of allowance to those whose wages are lower than the cost of living etc.
