In 2007 the income from operation on OREE increased by over 4 times (from 150 million rubles to 608.5 million rubles), in the first hand through replacement of the own generation on the fuel oil. The balance acceptance grew from 135 million kWh to 848.2 million kWh.

JSC "Tatenergo" is the power company, engaged in generation, transmission, distribution and sale of electricity and heat on the territory of Tatarstan Republic.
Technological complex of the power engineering entities, incorporated in JSC "Tatenergo", together with the power engineering entities, in the ownership of the country and unified by the single system of the dispatch and production control, constitute the power system of Tatarstan Republic. The power system of Tatarstan Republic works with the Unified Energy System of Russia on basis of the unified technological process and the single principle of the dispatch control.
JSC "Tatenergo" is an energy-balanced system. Installed electrical capacity of the power system is 6,986 MW (3.25% of total electrical capacity of Russia). Installed òheat capacity is 15,233 Gcal/h. Considering the big reserve of capacity, the JSC "Tatenergo" has potential to increase the export of energy to the other power systems.
