The awarded certificate of readiness to AWS is a successfully passed exam of the Chief Engineer and the engineering services and the guarantee of reliable power supply in winter. The non-stop electricity supply to Republican consumers depends upon the reliable operation of the distribution grids, through which the electricity goes to towns and villages. Since 12 September to 14 October the special commissions inspected the readiness of branches of JSC "Grid Company" to the autumn-winter time period of 2005/2006. Commission involved specialists from the Federal service of engineering inspection, close JSC "RDU Tatenergo", managers and engineers from the inspected entities. Members of commission highly assessed the coherent work of personnel of various services in solving the current problems and in removing the deficiencies, detected during the previous inspections.

The repair campaign was done by the electrical grids in full volume and on the required level. The high grades, put by the task forces, became a result of the hard work of the teams of the each grid company in the summer repair period. Among them are Almetievsk electrical grids, which supply energy to oil-drilling areas of RT.

In order to provide reliable operation, this company overhauled 22 switches of 35 kV, 6-10 kV, and\ circuit breakers 35 kV at substations "Suleevo" 220/110/35/6 kV, "Karamaly" 110/35/6 kV, "Almetievsk" 110/35/6 kV, "Urazmetievo" 35/10 kV, "Chalpy" 35/6 kV and "Ursaevo" 35/6 kV. The 5 power transformers were overhauled at the SS "Аktash" 110/35/6, SS "Chatry" 35/6, SS "Potashi Polyany" 35/6 and HL 500 kV "Zainsk-Bugulma", 110kV "Uzlovaya-Gorodskaya" and HL-35kV were repaired. At the distribution grids the power engineers of АЭС repaired 25.2 km of aerial lines 6-10 kV, 35,9 km HL 0,4 kV, 88units. ТП -6-10/0,4kV. Specialists of the Almetievsk electrical grids did the next to enhance the operation of equipment – installation of the protection screens on the circuit breakers 35-220 kV, replacement of the faulty insulators at SS 35-220 kV, replacement of the porcelain insulation with glass ones at HL-110 kV. Bugulma electrical grids also overhauled six substations 35-220 kV, where the morally and physically worn out porcelain pole-core insulation on ORU 35-110 kV was replaced with polymer. To improve the operation of the panels of protection relays there was conducted recovery of ground circuits at ОRU (open switchgear)of the two big substations – "Pismyanka" and "Bugulma-Central".

Five HL 35-220 kV have been epaired, where the faulty glass insulators, r/c poles and grounding cables were replaced. GSU was reconstructed at the substation "Bugulma -500". At the SS "Bavly" in the 14 cells there were installed the vacuum switches 6 kV with microprocessor protection. In the distribution grids of BEG the repair of TP 0.4/6-10 kV is done in the factory for the third year, at Bugulma plant BENZ. In total there were repaired the 35 units for the year. The 69.8 km HL-0,4 kV, 53.3 km HL 6-10 kV have been overhauled. On the territory of the serviced BEG appeared 50.5 km of the new aerial lines 0.4 kV using SIP.

Today the Certificate of readiness for work in autumn-winter season of 2005/06 will be awarded to Yelabuga electrical grids.
