Tactics for 2009-2011
Mission - to build up the efficient corporate information integrated system of JSC "Generation Company" head quarters, aimed at information support of business-processes and basing on a single complex of the technological, software, organizational documentation and high-skilled professionals.
Strategies for 2009-2011
Basing on the goals set by the company, aimed at getting the maximally efficient economy and promoting the permanent growth of profits, the unified integrated information management system is considered the most efficient instrument, allowing optimize the business activity of the company under conditions of the fast changing external and internal environment. The designing of the unified integrated information management system will be implemented under the single management with the personal responsibility on basis of the approved plan.
Basic strategies for the current time period:
- Keeping the single information environment in the holding.
- Creating the competitive advantages of the joint-stock company on the wholesale electricity and power market through information technologies utilization.
- Creating the information model of the company and its branches.
- Development, growth, training of the high-skilled managerial and engineering personnel, technical staff of the company on basis of the information technologies.
- Implementation of the IT Service Management (ITSM) using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Òactics: taking into account the mandatory stage-by-stage integration on base of the single bus
Basing on the strive to achieve within the shortest possible time period, the stable developing economy in the integration of the existing information systems into the unified integrated information management system on base of the corporate bus is considered the significant instrument allowing rebuild the activities of JSC "Generation Company" under conditions of operating on the wholesale and retail markets of electricity and heat sale, and optimize the internal business processes.
The integrated information system of JSC "Generation Company" head-quarters may be presented as the inter-related systems on the common bus with the single base of the normative reference information.
The corporate information system is built on the single bus, but provisionally, it may be divided into the three levels. Each level implements its managerial function regarding the tactical direction:
Business management level
The level of the company management (administrative and business) solves the strategic tasks. The respective ERP-system provides the general company resource management, including the part of functions of production support (long-term planning and strategic management for the year, quarter, month).
Business management level is aimed at implementation of the strategic tasks. Tactical tasks for this level for the time period of 2009-2011 are:
- Implementation of the corporate information management system regarding managerial accounting, planning and strategic management on base of ISU Parus and Plan designer
- Implementation of OLAP solutions (data storage and multivariate analysis) for automation of budget administration and control using the Plan designer system
- Implementation of energy trading system for operating on the wholesale electricity market
- Implementation of system of control over equipment, energy regimes market and production strategies on the wholesale electricity market, including:
- Selecting the optimal regime of operation of basic facilities at the pre-set thermal and electrical load of the plant
- Calculating the operative technical and business figures of the power plant considering the costs of the power resources
- Selecting the optimal facilities
- Calculation of the characteristic of the relative growth of the power plant costs. Calculating the fuel composite prime cost of electricity
Production management level
This level of management (production one ) solves the tasks of the production process management. The tactical tasks for 2009-2011 include:
- Implementation of the system of management of the fixed assets of the companies regarding the maintenance and repairs (M&R)
- Filling the archive of technical documentation
- Beginning of implementation of the system of provision with reliability and movability of the basic facilities
- Creating the technical data storage
- Implementation of anti-accident simulators
Operating control
This level of management solves the tasks of technological process management. Tactical tasks for 2009-2011 include:
- Upgrading the external capacity corrector
- Updating the programs of computerized systems of vibro - diagnostics
- Upgrading AIIS KUE ORE with the full automation of each object in the perimeter
- Upgrading the operating-information complexes at the branches and in the Head - Quarters
- Implementation of the system of metering each energy resource on the single platform Pyramid
- Implementation of ASUTP (on basis of the separate plan pursuant to plans of implementation of GT etc.)
- Upgrading the corporate network of data communication for video conferences holding, real -time monitoring etc.
