Reconstruction of water pre-treatment installation at Zainsk Condensation Plant water.

There is no reserve of primary water, as because of absence of pre-cleaning the water pre-treatment installation cannot operate on the surface waters (Kama river water and water of Zainsk water basin). For enhancing the reliability of provision the power boilers with desalted water it is necessary to do reconstruction using as primary water the water from water storage basin, and as reserve the water from Kama river.

Considering increased corrosion and high mineralization (up to 1 g/dm³) of water storage basin, as well as for reduction of consumption of chemical reagents and number of drainage from VPU the following scheme of water pre-treatment reconstruction: mechanical grid filters – ultra filtration – return osmoses - final cleaning on existing filters Н – ОН. Commissioning of return osmoses installation will save up to 37% o chemical regents.

2005 – 2006 – reconstruction of desalting installation and replacement of I stage with return osmoses installation of 210 t/h capacity.
