Reconstruction of SS "Kinderi" 500/220/110 kV

Substation 500 kV "Kinderi" is designed for electricity supply to Kazan. The connected capacity - 568.14 МW, the annual transmission of electricity - 3,041.4 m. kW/h, substation is attended around the clock, it has its own attending personnel, the consumers are from 1, 2, 3 category. Through SS to Kazan go up to 70% of consumed electricity.

Grids 500 – 220 kV Zainsk – Kinderi play significant role in covering the shortage of capacity both in Kazan power region and in the Northern region of ОES "Middle Volga" (Chuvash and Mari power systems) as well as in transferring the large capacity overflows from ОES "Urals".

Goal:
Replacement of morally and physically aged equipment in switchgears 500, 220, 110 kV, commissioning of the new station for control over substation, replacement of oil switches on ORU 110kV and circuit breakers on ORU 500 - 110kV with modern analogs, replacement of aged protection relays with new microprocessor ones.

Stages of project:
I stage (reconstruction of ORU - 500kV) - 1998-2001
II stage (reconstruction of ORU - 220kV) - 2001-2003
III stage (reconstruction of ORU - 110kV) - 2003-2005
IV stage (reconstruction of complex of relay protections, anti-emergency automatics and tele- measures) – 2006-2008

In 1998-2003 on open switchgear ORU 500 kV and ORU 220 kV were mounted the SF6 switches, by 2006 on ORU -110 kV were mounted the SF6 switches and switches U-110, auto-transformers АТ-1 АТDTSN-250000/220/110, АТ-2 АТDTSN-250000/220/110, АТ-3 АТDTSN-200000/220/110, АТ-4 3хАОDTSN-167000/500/220, АТ-5 3хАОDTSN-167000/500/220.

In at SS Kinderi were done:

1. Replacement of devices for communication of commands of anti-emergency automatics (PА) along the HF channels HL-500 kV of Zai Condensation Plant - Kinderi and HL-500 kV Kinderi – Pomary on the side of SS Kinderi and with modern microprocessor devices.

2. Mounting and tests at SS Kinderi of computer complex (basic) ) PA and server of communication with PA complex.

3. Mounting of accessory facilities of PA complex at SS Kinderi – start-up and output chains, chains of transfer of basic and reserve complexes.

4. Mounting of devices of tele-measuring of power overflows in grid 110-500 kV. These works completed the installation of I complex of equipment of relays and anti-emergency automatics.

It is planed to install the II complex in 2007.
