Reconstruction of systems of automatic regulation of turbines

Because of enhanced requirements to quality of primary regulation of frequency of current at the power plants of JSC "Тatenergo" the big work is done for upgrading the systems of turbine regulation with replacement of hydraulic systems (GSR) with electro- hydraulic ones (EGSR).

Of existing system of automatic regulation are removed such complex hydraulic units as unit of summing slide valves, power governor , slide valves, axle boxes and feedback levers of servomotors of regulating valves and revolving diaphragm. Functions of indicated units are done by electronic part of САР, where are realized the laws of autonomous connected regulation of frequency of revolving and pressure, as well as I-utilized the protection functions, provided the reserving the electronic part itself, diagnostics is effected.

Thus the design of mechanic - hydraulic part was noticeably simplified in the system of regulation. Control over turbine is done from computerized work station where is realized the program of the upper level of system with indormation collection and control functions. The machinist of the turbine may now see each control body and indications both on PC monitor in virtual regime and from control cabinet.

Apart from extension of functional capacities, because of availability of additional adjusters (capacity regulator with frequency corrector, regulator of fresh steam pressure, counter-pressure regulator), additional protection regulators, the system hаs additional protections from speeding-up with stable, time-independent settings, which in turn, provides enhanced dependability of anti-speeding-up protection. The solution of problems of automation and connecting the turbine to the plant ASUTP is facilitated.

For the first time in JSC "Тatenergo" the EGSR was installed on the turbine Т-100-130 at Nizhnekamsk CHPP. Testing the EGSR on the idle running and under the load, as well as testing by instant load removal, gave the next results:

• Insensitiveness of regulation speed in each range does not exceed 0.1%, - degree of non- uniformity of speed regulation - 4.5%,
• keeping revolution of idle running with accuracy ±1rev/min.

• at the two turbines of each of Kazan CHPP-1, CHPP-2, CHPP-3;
• at four turbines of Nizhnekamsk CHPP;
• at three turbines of Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP.
