Construction of heat line at Kazan Co-Generation Plant -1 - Azino

Construction of heat line - dam between Co-Generation Plant -1 and district boiler house "Azino" would allow to do away with shortage of thermal capacity in the newly erected buildings of the community "Azino", to realize the unrequited heat from Co-Generation Plant -1 200 Gcal/h, occurred because of decrease of the heat loads of industrial enterprises, allow to optimize the regime of power plant operation, and as a result , to reduce the fuel consumption.

It is expected that at the more full load of boilers and turbines regarding the thermal capacity, the specific consumption of fuel for electricity output will decrease by 15 g/kWh. In summer the thermal load of the Co-Generation Plant -1 will increase by 50 Gcal/h. Along with the fuel for electricity output will decrease by 26 g/kWh, and the specific consumption of fuel for output of heat will reduce by 10 kg/Gcal.

In view that the heat line will be built within the city limits, it will be possible to destroy the small boiler houses and extend the market of heat sale for the power company.

Construction of the heat line is done with insulation of the pipes with foam polyurethane with shell of the polyethylene pipe. Along with the life of the heat line extends up to 30 years, the losses of heat decrease by 3 - 4 times, the operation costs decrease by 9 times.

2005-2006 - construction, commissioning

In the present, the next locations have been put into operation - the heat line of Co-Generation Plant -1 - the district boiler house "Azino" - Horse race sports complex. PNS – 1 is furnished with equipment and PNS-2 is under construction. The entire commissioning - the III quarter of 2006.

Project is successfully completed.
