JSC "Tatenergo" named one of the most "transparent" companies in Russia . Transparency rating developed by International Social-Environmental Alliance (IS&EA), Independent Environmental Rating Agency (ANO "NERA") and RBK agency. Rating with support of World Bank was announced on the Moscow press-conference "Grey" and "White". Environmental transparency of Russian companies". The expert commission commented on the submitted detailed and dull social-environmental information about 30 companies and branches of JSC "Tatenergo". Among the Russian regions the Republic of Tatarstan ranked second in the list of the most environmentally open subjects in Federation (transparency of 67.5%), going behind the leading the list Habarovsk territory (transparency of 68.55%) only by 1%.

Power system of Tatarstan at the highest level in the last 10 years in electricity supply. From 1 January 2006 the supply of power outside Republicи reached 565 MW. Consumption in Tatarstan these days reached 3, 886 MW against 3,650 MW of the last year same period. On 18 January 2006 when the lowest air temperature was recorded, the peak value of total power of the holding plants constituted 4,317 MW. On the same day was fixed the maximal value of the 24-hour balance-supply of electricity in amount of 5,738 MW/h. In total for the day under complex weather conditions, related to the low outside air temperatures the JSC "Tatenergo" plants supplied to consumers both own and to the ones on the wholesale market 90,712 MW/h of electricity which matches the two fays of the average annual consumption in total Republic.

At Kazan CHPP-3 the first in Russia and Europe installation of complex processing of production waste waters is mounted. Utilized technology will reduce the consumption of Volga river water to 3-4 millions of tons a year and practically to entirely exclude the mineralized wastes and payments for them. Unique installation allows to use the purified mineralized wastes in recycling technologies of the plant for feeding the evaporator in place of the initial Volga water. Specialists define it as one of the most advanced means for reduction of specific consumption of natural resources. Realization of the developed scheme allows to create the first in Russia and Europe low-waste, no-drainage, technology of water pretreatment at the plants, that may be laid in foundation of the modern CHPP design.

Tatarstan power engineering specialists continue the stage-by-stage replacement of high voltage commutation devices. At Kazan CHPP-1 were commissioned the three SF6 switches VGТZ-110 kV. They replaced the obsolete aerial switches. Switches and equipment were replaced by the new microprocessor protections made by NPP "EKRA" Cheboksary.

New commutation equipment was commissioned on the open switchgear at Kazan CHPP-3. There was installed the SF6 switch VGT-110 with the same new generation protections. On the open switchgear 220 kV at Zainsk Condensation Plant were successfully tested and commissioned three SF6 switches HPL-245 instead of aerial switches, they are made by "ABB "with modern microprocessor protections.

At Urussu Condensation Plant the 2 bulk-oil switches were replaced with SF6 bulk-oil switches of series VEB-110 with built-in current transformers of modern domestic production.

"ZhilEnergoServis, Ltd " (ZHES) started realization of program "Lit Entrance". It stipulates installation in the house entrances in Naberezhnye Chelny the lamps of the new generation, more reliable and quality in operation. The program is envisaged for 2 years. In the new year only it is planned to install about 80 th. of the new lamps. Total cost of installation is over 9 million rubles.

As experiment the "ZhilEnergoServis, Ltd " continues the commissioning of the new energy saving technologies - installation of photo- acoustic switches in common locations. Costs of furnishing with such switches the average residential house average 5,624 rubles, the saving of electricity reaches 6,879 rubles . As a result each such switch will repay within 10 months.

Town Naberezhnye Chelny acknowledged the power engineering specialists as best Maecenas. The title " Maecenas of Year" was awarded to JSC "Tatenergo" for results of town competition. For help, rendered in reconstruction of one of the biggest culture enterprises of Naberezhnye Chelny – HC "Power Engineering Specialists " – power company of Tatarstan is among the Maecenas, whose contribution in culture of the Car Town for results for 2005 was recognized the most weighted.

JSC "Tatenergo" began laying the new heat line in Naberezhnye Chelny. Goal of the project – transfer of the old part of the townа, heated from autonomous heat sources to heat frоm Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP, this will optimize the cost of heat оf energy for consumers of the town. The installed thermal capacity at NChCHPP is enough for cover of loads of entire town. To open the way to cheap heat "Tatenergo" started in 2006 construction оf the new heat water line. The program is divided by the power engineering specialists into three stages.

At first stage of works to be completed before the heating season of 2006, it is planned to lay the pipeline of over 7 kilometers from the камеры переключений Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP to the pumping plant ZYAB, and finish the reconstruction of the heat pass-by №100 frоm the plant to the switch chamber. The last will cost to the power engineering specialists above 40 million rubles . For transfer of additional heat the reconstruction will touch the district heating scheme of CHPP, which will cost more 30 and more million rubles .

Second stage of the project stipulates construction оf additional - 4-th heat line o length 4,700 m from the plant till the switching chamber for provision of dependable heat supply to the townа and cover of growing heat оconsumption in Naberezhnye Chelny. On the third final stage will be optimized the scheme of heat supply to remaining part of Komsomolski district – will go on the construction оf heat lines to consumers of HPP and Sidorovka.

Tatarstan power system engineers again proved their professionalism in the course of All-Russia competition "Engineer of the Year". Basing on results for 2005 the Deputy Chief Engineer of JSC "Generation Company" Gennadi Konstantinovich Filimonov awarded the title "Professional Engineer of Russia ", а Deputy head of PTO of Kazan CHPP-2 Alexander Dmitrievich Dobronravov – the title of Laureate of competition according to version of "Engineering Art of the Young".

Regular meeting of JSC "Tatenergo" Board of Directors held".Among the basic issues of agenda, the budget of the power holding for 2006 was considered as well as the Industry Tariff Agreement for current year in the area of labor, wages and social guarantees to staff. The Board of Directors approved the JSC "Tatenergo" budget for 2006 and unanimously approved the Industry Tariff Agreement for 2006 between JSC "Tatenergo" and Republicаn Committee of All-Russia electricity trade union.

Board of Directors discussed the information on the two remaining issues, included in agenda, specifically, "Оn energy supply to JSC "Kazan Oil Extraction Plant" and "Rationale for Conducting by Consumers of Republic of Tatarstan regulatory actions for matching the schedule of load of the consumed electricity and application of tariffs for electrical energy, differentiated according to the day zone".

Director of Kazan CHPP-1 JSC "Generation Company" was appointed Radik Zavitovich Galiullin (Deputy General Director for Investments and Prospective Development of JSC "Tatenergo", work experience in the industry – 19 years ), to position of Director of Zainsk Condensation Plant of JSC "Generation Company" was appointed Ruzal Zagitovich Gizzatullin (Director of Kazan CHPP-1, work experience in power engineering – 9 years ), to position of Director of Kazan Electrical Grids of JSC "Grid Company" – Rushad Fandusovich Mustafin (Director of Nizhnekamsk Electrical Grids , work experience –10 years ).

To position of Chief Engineer of Naberezhnye Chelny Power District of Kazan Thermal Grids of JSC "Generation Company" was appointed Yuri Vasilievich Kozharin (Director of Zainsk Condensation Plant , work experience in the industry – 23 years).

Tatarstan power engineering specialists named among the best in solving the issues of Civil Defense in Republic. High appreciation of power engineering specialists actions was rendered at the meeting for results in the area of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and civil defense, held by Prime-Minister of Republic of Tatarstan- manager of CD Rustam Minnihanov. For results of 2005 the service of power engineering specialists and light masking ranked third among the services of Republican civil defense and the power association ranked third among the Tatarstan economical entities.

Power engineering specialists reconstructed two substations in Naberezhnye Chelny. To enhance the reliability electricity supply to companies located in industrial are of the town (Promzona) was rebuilt the substation 110/10 kV "Ptitseprom ". New substation is equipped with SF6 switches 110 kV and vacuum switches 10 kV, and modern microprocessor protections. Protection of transformers is made on base of cabinets of the model SHE 2607-041, protection of equipment 10 kV – on units of microprocessor protection relay. Commissioning of the substation allowed to reefed the state farm "Vesenni", Gorzelenhoz, poultry farm "Chelny-Broiler" etc.

Also was entirely reconstructed the substation 110/6 kV "Chelny", with which commissioning in 1959 began the "big power engineering" of town. In reconstruction the big works were done to replace the obsolete equipment with modern last models. At the substation instead of the aged switches 6 and 110 kV were mounted the new SF6 and vacuum ones.

Also were replaced the power transformers 110 kV and built new premise of operator station of the head quarters, close switchgear. Upgrading of the old town substation allowed to enhance the reliability of electricity supply to oil drillers, Naberezhnye Chelny Combine of construction materials, Elevator, tram park, and private housing of the town.

On 24-25 February the Chairman of the Board of "UES Russia " Anatoli Borisovich Chubais visited Republic of Tatarstan. First of objects visited by Chairman of the Board of RAO "UES Russia " and Prime-Minister оf Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov became the SS 110 kV "Novokremlevskaya". As said the head of "UES Russia ", the features of power supply objects of such scale are of big interest. "Novokremlevskaya", built within short time period for celebration of 1000-th anniversary of Kazan, may be named the example of technical solutions. The guests were shown how it is dependable in operation and easy to service. As the commuting devices first in the Tatarstan power system were used the SF6 switchgear produced by the world famous company "АВВ".

Chairman of the Board of RAO "UES Russia " familiarized with new administration premise of the Kazan electrical grids of JSC "Grid Company". The Kazan Electrical grids received both the serious office and the efficient center for operative management of electricity transfer in the million town. In the new premises for provision of fast communication with each division of the power system were installed the digital telecommunication system and exchange. Semi spherical rooms of the attic are intended for dispatch office with the big computerized board that allows to fast trace the processes in the big business of Kazan energy. Here Anatoli Chubais spent more time than it had been planned. Zainsk municipal district of Republic of Tatarstan recognized General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev "Human-Golden Heat of RТ". He, as Deputy of the State Council of Republic of Tatarstan from Zainsk voting community, who did big work for enhancing the well-being of the region, became the leader in the nomination "Man – Noble Heart".

Within the last two years they rendered help in construction and reconstruction of the significant social facilities, including the Zainsk Orphanage for children without parents, surgery and ward premises of Zainsk Central hospital, improving the recreation place "Karmalka", realization of the program "My Yard, My House" in Zainsk.

JSC "Tatenergo" summoned results of financial - economical activity in 2005. It went under the sign of global reforms in the power system, at which the management of the company actively worked within the last 3 years . Since 1 April 2005 he has worked as the manger of the holding, comprised of several big subsidiary companies. The companies are united by the single technology cycle – production, transfer, sale of electricity and heat and its dispatching.

The reorganization of the power system is aimed at increase of market capitalization of the JSC "Tatenergo" holding. Its contribution shall make Generation and Grid Company, and all of the subsidiaries and dependent companies. They have the task to increase the profit through extension of service and product sale market outside JSC "Tatenergo" holding.

Volume of electricity production in 2005 was 23.7 billion kWh and increased by 0.3% compared to 2004. Volume of heat supply for last year grew by 2.1%, and was 30.6 million Gcal. With growth of electricity generation and supply of heat аthe amount of consumption of fuel practically remained on the last year level and constituted 10.6 million trf. Moreover, the fuel consumption even reduced compared to previous year by 9.5 th. trf. Actual saving of fuel through increase of specific indexes of production constituted in 2005 the 93.2 th. trf. The specific consumption of fuel for supply of electricity was 323.9 g/kWh and reduced considerably compared to the previous year – by 6.2 g/kWh.

For renovation of fixed assets including their upgrading and reconstruction in 2005 were allocated 4.2 billion rubles and implementation was 100.6%. Including introduction of the fixed assets was 3.5 billion rubles, over 816 million оf which fall on Generation Company. In the Grid Company were commissioned the assets for 2.25 billion rubles Including, the three new substations, equipped with modern equipment – SS 110 kV "Novokremlevskaya" in Kazan, "Chelny" and "Ptitseprom " in . Naberezhnye Chelny. In Kazan thermal grids the volumes of renovation amount to 323.6 million rubles. Here were commissioned the new Volga water lines at Kazan CHPP-3 and CHPP-2 with pumping station, heat line on Bolshaya Krasnaya street, pumping station on Tetsevskaya street. The big works were completed on heat line of CHPP-1 – DBH "Azino" and two pumping stations. Also was commissioned in 2005 the 2 GT of 25 MW each at Kazan CHPP-1.

In October 2005 in Russia was commissioned the balancing segment of the wholesale market of electricity. At the plants of JSC "Generation Company" and in JSC "RDU Tatenergo" were trained the operators, installed and tested the software, worked out the relations between itself and ODU Middle Volga JSC "SО–TSDU". Was approved the plan of the new balance of production and supply of electricity to the wholesale market of electricity for 2006 with transfer in JSC "Tatenergo" in amount of 500 million kWh.

As says the manager of the power holding I.Sh. Fardiev, considering the results of work on the wholesale market from the beginning of the current year , and in the light of the sharp growth of energy consumption, exceeding the optimistic forecasts and the coming deficiency of generation capacities, the Tatarstan power engineering specialists may rely on increase of balance volumes of supply of energy for 2007 and the next years in order to strengthen the status of JSC "Tatenergo" as electricity supplier. Strategic task before Tatarstan power system supply of electrical energy to OREE in amount of up to 6 billion kWh.

Technical Director of JSC "Generation Company" Ilgizar Aliahmetovich Zakirov awarded the degree of PhD. This is first in the power system case when the degree was awarded to practical power engineering specialists. Dissertation of Ilgizar Zakirov, former manger of Kazan CHPP-3, was devoted to development of theory of complex utilization of the nature protection technologies at thermal plants.

To award to Ilgizar Aliahmetopbich the Diploma оn behalf of High Certification Commission of Russia , to Kazan came his scientific supervisor Pavel Vasilievich Roslyakov , professor, head of steam generator construction division of Moscow Power Engineering Institute.

"Tatenergo" started new model of provision of power system staff with flats. Among the social project realized in Tatarstan holding the program of provision the power engineering specialists with housing is the priority. These years "Tatenergo" practically has not reduce the rates of provision with housing of its staff. Today the former procedure of housing crediting has changed for another procedure – as part of Republicаn Program of social mortgage.

JSC "Tatenergo" are returned 45 per cent of deductions by the power company for sale of social mortgage apartments to staff. In 2006 this the share of power engineering specialists in total amount of Republicаn "mortgage housing" will be assessed in amount of 226 million rubles. As social support of staff in JSC "Tatenergo" is planned the target loan. Now it is extended for involvement in social mortgage, it means that the staff of the power system included in Summary list of state housing foundation (SHF). For privileged crediting of staff "Tatenergo" in 2006 will allocate more 100 million rubles.

Competition Commission of JSC "Tatenergo" completed work for determining the best repaired aggregates of CHPP on base of results of repair campaign of 2005. The repaired with "excellent" grade equipment was presented before commission by representatives from Kazan CHPP-2 and CHPP-3, Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP, Nizhnekamsk CHPP and Zainsk condensation plant . Each of the boiler- turbine-aggregates was examined and assessed by the commission in terms of: reliability and technical and economical parameters. Results of inspections attest of improved quality of repairs, grown interest in plant personnel.

Winners in the competition "Best Aggregate" basing on results for repair campaign of 2005 were named the boiler of Kazan CHPP-3 and turbine at Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP. Second place was awarded to aggregates of Nizhnekamsk CHPP and Kazan CHPP-2, and the repaired boiler at Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP ranked third. Winners competition were awarded the Diplomas and bonuses.

Zainsk Condensation Plant awarded I place on results for competition for labor protection among the industrial companies of Zainsk аnd Zainsk region. The winners of the competition were declared at then big session of Coordination Council for protection of labor, held recently in Zainsk.

Last year only at Zainsk plant for labor protection were used over 2 million 93 th. million rubles . Per a staff this amount is 1 th. 790 rubles . In the last years the number of traumas and failures in the power company reduced considerably. Working places confirm to applicable normatives, each member of the labor team is provided with individual protection means. The shower rooms are in good condition, there are the rooms of emotional discharge, which was obvious during the tour around Zainsk Condensation Plant .

Honorable award fro this work became the Scroll of Ministry of Labor and Employment, warded to Chief Engineer of Zainsk Condensation Plant Vasili Volyakov. The plant, ranked I in nomination "Industrial Companies" of town and region competition, was chosen for presenting the town Zainsk in competition for labor protection in Republic.

"Arbitration Energy Court" (AEC) of Republic of Tatarstan a member of Russian Center for Assistance to Arbitration. The decision was made by the Board of the Center after familiarizing with activity of TES. After studying the documents and reports by management about the work of court for previous periods and receiving the detailed answers, the 15 members of the Board voted "pro".

In Yelabuga electrical grids completed reconstruction of substation 110/6 kV "Setyakovo". In reconstruction of was applied the latest electro- technical equipment and advanced technical solutions. The works were done on the territory of the working SS and it was important to preserve the reliable electricity supply to consumers. This task was done due to applied in Yelabuga electrical grids technical solution for using the single-wire сables made from the сross-linked polyethylene for mounting the buses between the power transformers and close switchgear 6 kV along the cable overpass.

At the substation were mounted the SF6 switches and modern current transformers, voltage transformers and over-voltage limiters, circuit breakers with polymer support insulators with remote control, in close switchgear 6 kV were installed the cells by "Samarski Elektroshchit" with vacuum switches.

For functions of relay protection, automatics, signaling devices 110 kV were used the microprocessor devices of protection and automatics produced by NPP "EKRA" ( Cheboksary). For realizing the functions of relay protection, automatics, connections 6 kV were used the microprocessor complex devices of protection and automatics of Sirius type produced by NPF "Radius" ( Zelenograd). At substation was utilized the computerized system of process control, that allows from the dispatcher work station control the state of substation equipment, operate it, change settings of relay protection and automatics directly through the computer.

Team of protection company "Energoshchit" ranked second in Republicаn competitions for trophy of MVD RT. Our team was presented by protection staff of Kazan CHPP-1 Vladimir Goryankin and Gilfan Hamatvaleev, аs well as representative of protection from Nizhnekamsk CHPP Ilshat Shagiev. Each the first class shooter. Staff of "ОR "Energoshchit" demonstrated good physical condition and excellent knowledge of the rules. In personal competition the first place was with Vladimir Goryankin, captain of the security company.

Nizhnekamsk CHPP is a winner in town competition for labor protection. Expert commission assessed the activities of the service and the joint committee for protection of labor in the company, manager and staff training, work places certification. Also were considered the number of people engaged in the hard physical labor, provision of staff with uniform, accidents in production and state of sanitary-daily rooms.

Nizhnekamsk power engineering specialists were named the leaders in each position. Last year at the plant was done the repair of the rooms and ventilation on the control boards of two boiler-turbine shops and fuel plant. In the water pretreatment shops were improved the ventilation systems in the rooms where the chemical reagents were treated. In the water pretreatment shops, boiler-turbine and fuel shops were computerized the production processes. At the plant are regularly conducted the traditional days of labor protection. The competitions are held fro the title "Best Engineer, supervisor and responsible for labor protection at Nizhnekamsk CHPP", determined the best workshops.

Collective bargain at Nizhnekamsk CHPP – among the first three. Awarding of Nizhnekamsk power engineering specialists was held on the II meeting of the Sovet of Federation and Trade Unions of RT for liability implementation in Republican Agreement between CTC of Tatarstan , Federation of Trade Unions of Republic, Cabinet of Ministers оf RT and Association of Industrial Companies of Tatarstan.

In Zelenodolsk opened the new building of Zelenodolsk united production division (UPD) of "Energosbyt" company". Premise was built through internal reserves of the "Energosbyt" company. The latest information technologies are used in the new premise. Two trade union organizations of Tatarstan energy holding named the best in the entire trade union All Russia Elektroprofsoyuz. The results of the review competition "The Best Primary Trade Union Organization of Public Association "All Russia Elektroprofsoyuz ", organized in honor of 100-anniversary of the industry trade union, have been summed up in Moscow at the regular meeting of Presidium of All Russia committee "Elektroprofsoyuz ". Trade union of Naberezhnye Cogeneration plant ranked first in the group of the primary trade union organizations with trade union committee chairman, working on exempt basis. Absolute victory of Elbik Safaev in Russian competition became recognition of professional and personal qualities of the manager as the honored representative of the modern and talented managers, who work for the well-being of the economics of the country.

The first in history of schooling Seminar is held for teachers. The theme is basics of vital functions security. This way started realization of the joint long-term program of JSC "Tatenergo" and Ministry of Education and Science of RT for prevention of electrical traumatism among children. It is symbolic that the campaign started on 28 April – on the Day of labor protection, founded by International labor organization in 2003 in Geneva.

First Deputy General Director, Director for Economics and Finance of JSC "Tatenergo" G. M. The prize is warded to journalist for active work and interest on the part of the public. The News Center of JSC "Tatenergo" in Zakamie region was founded three months ago. The VI scientific-practical conference "Solution of urgent problems of power engineering using prospective design-engineering developments" is held. First deputy general director of the managing company "Elektroshchit" Mikhail Egorov explained this by the fact that to date JSC "Tatenergo" is the leader in utilization of advanced equipment and "All Russia and CIS arrive to see how the best work".

Zainsk condensation plant demonstrated high readiness to doing tasks in the course of command-staff mobilization training. Training was conducted in Republic of Tatarstan on May 22 through 26 under management of Privolzhscko-Urals region. The goal was to check the readiness of mobilization control bodies .

Responsible approach of the station administration to organization of mobilization, shown in the equipping the room for information head quarters with the required information-training aids and inventory, was remarked by representatives of the Zainsk military commissariat present at the training. The program мof the holiday, organized together with department of Education of Novo -Savinovski district of Kazanи to the aim of prevention of children traumatism were held various competitions for students of the junior and middle grades of secondary schools and concert numbers from youth committees of в Kazan companies of "Tatenergo". Young power engineering specialists and power engineering university students through songs, fairy tales, verses tried to teach the simple rules of safety.

Finally the schoolchildren were taught to render first aid to suffered from electrical current and presented to the young life-savers the opportunity to "resuscitate" the Gosha simulator used in the power system in staff certification. For junior schoolchildren was held the competition of the drawings on the asphalt. As a result practically each child left the holiday with prize from power company.

JSC "Tatenergo" named the one of the most "environmentally transparent" companies of the country. On May 31 , ANO NERA introduced at the press-conference of the World bank the second issue of directory "Social-environmental responsibility and ratings of Russian business -2006", in which directory the ratings of the 110 biggest Russian companies are shown as well as the over 700 of their companies for 2000-2004.

Energy holding of Tatarstan, the environmental transparency of which constituted 95.86%, ranked one of the best. "Irkutskenergo" with 75% of transparency ranked next in the rating. The environmental transparency of the country, ranked 6th among the 14 economy industries, constituted only 55.75 per cent.

Reconstructed health care complex "Balkysh" of JSC Tatenergo hosted the first holiday-makers. Sanatorium for the power engineering specialists underwent the large-scale reconstruction. The living space of the health care complex was increased twice. Now for power engineering specialists the 56 double rooms, 7 family and 9 suites have been prepared. Were constructed the treatment building of total area of 1,100 sq. meters, new restaurant, bar, billiards, and other service rooms. On the territory the sports facilities of total area 7,000 sq. meters was built, the play-field for kids, the area for calm resting.

The opening of Agryz production entity of "Energosbyt " sales company Yelabuga division. Agryz production entity of "Energosbyt" was founded in 1993. Till March, 2005 its subscribers were the entities and companies, households on the territory of the region, except for the regional center. In March of the last year the individuals and legal entities of Agryz itself were accepted for the direct servicing. To date the entity services 11, 789 subscribers, of which 11,500 are the individuals, 289 are the legal entities.

Annual general meeting of JSC "Tatenergo" stockholders held. General Director JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev told of results of operation of the for the last year. He told that for JSC "Tatenergo" the year of 2005 was hard year, the year of the peak of reforms in the power system. Since 1 April 2005, the subsidiaries started independent operation: JSC "Generation Company", JSC " Grid Company", close JSC "RDU "Tatenergo"; since 1 October - JSC "Kazan Thermal Grid Company", "Urussu thermal grids, ltd". The non-core divisions have been turned into independent companies.

As a result the year of 2005 was for JSC "Tatenergo" the year of new strategy of company activities management on basis of the single principles of managing the branch companies. In 2005 power plants generated 23.7 billion kWh of electricity, by 0.3 mote than in 2004. Selling of heat increased by 2.14% and constituted 30.6 million giga calories.

In 2005 the level of profitability was 9.6%, that allowed to both work in current mode and develop extensively. For example, implementation of capital construction plan last year was 4,768.8 m. rubles with plan of 4,753.5 m. rubles, for modernization and refurbishment of equipment were allocated 4,557 m. rubles. Realization of Cost management Program allowed to get the necessary funds, provide the required profit level of the holding, increase salaries and wages.

"Today JSC "Tatenergo" is a fast developing power system, financially stable and attractive for investments told General Director. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev familiarized with construction of heat line in Naberezhnye Chelny. In terms of scale this project of the specialists call the second BAM in region of Naberezhnye Chelny. Construction of heat line would allow to transfer the old part of the town, heated from autonomous boiler houses, to heat frоm Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP. To open the way to cheap heat, "Tatenergo" started in 2006 the construction оf the bridge in 3 stages. Realization of the first one only will take 21 months, but the power engineering specialists plan to complete it in 10 months.

As at June 30, when President of Tatarstan familiarized with bridge construction, had been laid 8,000 m of the planned 13,400 m. As say the managers of NChER КТС, the average rate of laying is 190-220 m per day. On mounting the pipeline work 120 - 140 men.

- On example of Naberezhnye Chelny the others have to learn how to solve the housing problems, - said Mintimer Shaimiev . – Residents of the old part of the town have to pay for heat twice as much. Considering that the heating season lasts 210 days per year, you may imagine how big are the costs. Construction оf the heat line delivered by "Tatenergo", would allow to solve the old problem – the residents of the town will pay for heat according to the single tariffs.

The price of question is high: with realization of the project аthe cost of heat in the town will be lower that average in Tatarstan. Wish we this or not, but the price of gas and power resources I the country grows o permanent basis. After construction of heat line the Naberezhnye Chelny will be able not to raise tariffs. At the same time the issue of stable heat supply to the town is solved, and the CHPP will receive the maximal load.

At Kazan Cogeneration Plant-3 of Generation company of the holding "Tatenergo" the new director appointed. Igor Yurievich Silov was appointed for the position (born in 1955, education – power engineering university) with 27 years of work in the power system of Tatarstan. He headed the service of technical equipment operation and repair of the head quarters of JSC " Generation Company".

General system conference of members of Youth public organization of Tatarstan energy holding was held in JSC "Tatenergo. The Youth forum was attended by first managers of the holding and directors of the subsidiaries, over 150 delegates from the power system of Republic. They discussed the structure and development prospects of the Youth public organization оf "Tatenergo" and urgent problems of Youth movement of the energy holding.

Basing on results for 2005 Yuri Schelokov, deputy general director of JSC "Tatenergo"-director of JSC "RDU" became a laureate of Republican competition "Manager of the Year". By decision of competition commission headed by Prime-minister of RT, R.Minnihanov, he was named one of the best managers of Tatarstan in nomination "For active investment activity".

The other activity of deputy head of Tatarstan energy holding is directly elated to reforming the housing area of Republic. In charge of the issues of relationships of "Tatenergo" with utility power engineering companies, Yuri Vladimirovich makes big input in complex work related to technical refurbishment and financial recovery of municipal heat transporting structures of Tatarstan towns, providing their stable operation during the heating time period and successful integration of the big power engineering industry with the small one.

Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant volleyball players became award winners of Russian championship. Nizhnekamsk power engineering specialists were the third at the Russian volleyball championship, that was held in Anapa, among the teams of sporting clubs (SC) and teams of athletics. (KFK). The right to take part in these prestigious competitions was won by the team of Niz cogeneration plant in the course of fight between the best teams of the towns of Republic of Tatarstan, that in February defined the best representatives of Zakamie area.

Director of energy police awarded by President of Russia. By Order dd. 9 August of President of Russian Federation V. Putin the head of police in MVD of RT Hazif Mavzetdinovich was awarded the medal "For achievements before the Homeland" II degree. In the recently published rating of agency "RosBusinessConsulting", based on the earnings of the companies in 2005, JSC "Tatenergo" ranked thirds among the power engineering companies of the country after RAO "UES Russia" and "Mosenergo". Among the 500 giants of domestic industry the Tatarstan power company occupies 82 place. The leaders in the list are the three whales of economy - "Lucoil" with one and half billion profit, RAO "Gazprom" (1,384 billion rubles) and RAO "UES Russia" (765 billion rubles)

Power engineering trade unions thank the Tatarstan power engineering specialists. The acknowledgement by International association of professional unions "Elektroprofsoyuz" the team of JSC "Tatenergo" earned basing on results of the meeting of managers of electrical trade unions of Russia, Byelorussia, Ukraine and Tajikistan. This year Tatarstan met the guests.

Today Prime-Minister of Tatarstan accepted for operation the new heat line in Naberezhnye Chelny . Rustam Minnihanov personally put the new line for operation recirculation, pressing the button in Naberezhnye Chelny division of Kazan thermal grids. Thus the preliminary works are completed and the heat carrier will go in them on 25 September , when in accordance with resolution of local administration the heat will be supplied to houses. Assessing this vital project by power engineering specialists the Primer called this project advantageous and necessary regarding social and economical aspects".

Energo-service Tatarstan company extended the range of services and established the branch for meters realization."ZhilEnergoServis, ltd", to which in August joined the other servicing company of Republican power system "Energouchet, ltd", apart from maintenance of intra-house electrical grids of residential houses it may offer to population of towns and villages of Tatarstan a number of additional services.

The basic activity of "ZHES, ltd" is improvement of metering the energy consumption. Installation of modern devices, eg. double rate meters that are in demand, is useful for electricity consumers themselves. The residents of Republic can buy one rate and three rate meters in specialized outlets of the Trading house "Energouchet".

To date the Trading house, established just one and half months ago, has 8 outlets in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetievsk, Bugulma, Buinsk, Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk, and in the village Vysokaya Gora. We plan to open more outlets in 15 settlements in Tatarstan.

Bugulma power engineering specialists named the best in Republic regarding prevention and liquidation of emergencies. Such high appreciation the company of Bugulma electrical grids (BEG) received in the course of Republican competitions of emergency-rescue formations (communication groups, sanitary teams, intelligence groups) Civil Defense and ES on base of which they occupied the first place.

Service of dispatch and technological control BES presented its city. In total in competition participated 8 teams from various towns of Tatarstan. First test for participants became inspection of outfit, knowledge of theory. By comment of the jury including representatives from Ministry of communication and Ministry of emergency situations of RT, the team of BES demonstrated the highest kevel of competence.

In Zainsk the power engineers of Tatarstan commissioned the new electrical grid entity. DS 10/6 kV "Mirny", commissioned by Nizhnekamsk grids in the course of this repair campaign, is of high importance for further development of industrial enterprises and housing sector of Zainsk. New entity of Grid company of "Tatenergo" holding was done using the state –of- the- art electrical devices.

In distribution station were installed the two transformers of capacity 10 MVА, cells K-59 produced by Samara factory "Elektroschit" with vacuum switches VBEK produced by FGUP NPP "Kontakt" (Saratov). In the cells are also applied the dry transformers TSKS. Feeding of the new DS is effected by two cable lines of cross-linked polyethylene, starting from SS 110/35/6 kV "Poselkovaya", and the two aerial lines 10 kV with cable approaches from GPP "KAMAZZavtotehnika, ltd ". Mounting of DS "Mirny" was done by "Gydroelektromontazh, ltd ", "Stroyenergoservis, ltd", "MK-73, ltd " and "Farsil, ltd ", they laid the aerial and cable lines.

For data transfer from microprocessor devices RZA "Sirius", and applied DS " Mirny", the telemechanics device "ISET" produced by "NTK Interfeis, ltd " (Yekaterinburg) was used. Information is transferred to dispatch of Zainsk REG and forwarded to dispatch of NizEG, due to this the accurate information may be easily obtained about condition of each cell of distribution station. The UPS MODULIS was installed for equipment .

ZYAB township of Naberezhnye Chelny town receives heat from the new heat transmission line. The heat is supplied not from the low efficient boiler houses but from Naberezhnye Chelny cogeneration plant . This allows to introduce in Naberezhnye Chelny the single tariff for heat.

This vital for many Chelny residents project of power engineering specialists for optimization of tariffs for heat in one of the biggest Tatarstan towns, President of Republic Mintimer Shaimiev called the example of housing problems solution, and Prime Minister of RТ Rustam Minnihanov who accepted the new heat bridge, assessed it as "very useful and necessary regarding social and economical aspect".

Commissioning of the new heat bridge, which construction cost to JSC "Tatenergo" 844 m. rubles, will allow to start active construction in the town and let Naberezhnye Chelny cogeneration plant output more electricity that is important for the town and its economy.

General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev presented the new General Director of JSC "Kazan Thermal Grid Company". Board of Directors of JSC "KТK" Shamil Hadievich Hismatullin, former first deputy General Director, chief engineer of JSC "KТK" was replaced by Farhat Fairushin who headed KТK. He became the General Director of MUP "Kazenergo". He will do financial and technical recovery of municipal company with future privatization and merging into the single thermal grid company.

As said General Director оf JSC "Tatenergo", the power system took the big responsibility before the consumers of heat of Kazan, by taking for realization the decision of Government of Republic for uniting the municipal thermal grids of capital and the grids of Kazan thermal grid company. It is expected the extensive reconstruction of thermal grids with their connecting to cogeneration plant.

Tatarstan power holding done the staff changes. For position of Chief Engineer of Kazan CHPP-2 of Generation Company of "Tatenergo" holding wаs appointed Vitali Pavlovich Tyuklin, (born in 1970, in power system of Tatarstan – sinсe 1995 , university degree+ МВА courses), former Director of Urussu Condensation Plant . The former Chief Engineer of КCHPP-2 Sergei Michaelevich Margulis promoted to Kazan Thermal Grid Company (КТC) to position of Deputy Chief Engineer.

Kazan power engineering college celebrated the 50-th birthday. Jubilee of one of the leading technical educational establishments is a significant date in history of special vocational and professional training of Tatarstan. The representatives from Ministries of Republic, managers of the energy holding, graduates, veterans of the college came to congratulate them.

In the opinion of the holding manager Ilshat Fardiev, he was surprised that together with the questions relating to house provision, heal care of children, increase of salaries were the questions of upgrading the energy objects, enhancing the skills and prospects of industry development.

Staff changes in Republican energy holding. For position of Director of Urussu condensation plant of the Generation company of the holding Vladimir Ivanovich Petrov was assigned, former Chief Engineer of the plant. For position of Chief Engineer was transferred Rustem Fanurovich Husnutdinov, former Deputy Chief Engineer of Ur Condensation plant.

In the other companies the changes were as follows. For position of Chief Engineer of Zainsk condensation plant from position of Deputy Chief Engineer was transferred Sergei Alexandrovich Tokmachev. For position of Deputy Director for general issues of Kazan cogeneration plant -3 was assigned Ravshan Muhamatovich Sagitov, transferred from the branch of JSC "Generation Company" Nizhnekamsk Hydro plant. For the vacant position of Deputy Director for general issues and capital construction of Nizhnekamsk Hydro plant was assigned Ildus Rafisovich Mullugaliev.

Staff changes occurred in the Head Quarters of JSC "Generation Company" as well. For vacant position of they head of service of operation and repair of thermal technical equipment from position of Deputy Chief Engineer for repair of Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant was transferred Vladislav Vladimirovich Salmin. The formerly this position was occupied by Igor Yurievich Silov, who in the present, heads Kazan cogeneration plant -3 of the energy holding.

In the energy holding of Tatarstan the regular research and practical conference of young specialists was held. The young specialists from Head quarters of JSC "Tatenergo" "ТаtAISenergo" branch shared thoughts for optimization of operation of the energy system.

Opening the conference, technical director of Generation company of the holding "Tatenergo" Ilgizar Zakirov stressed that the presentations of the youth of the energy system are extremely interesting. Some of the proposals are used already in operation of the energy system, some are on the stage of development or commissioning. The part of reports presented at the conference of the Grid and Generation companies, are a part of the annual exposition of the energy holding, the material of energy conservation.

In JSC "Tatenergo" created the virtual museum of the power system. Site, dedicated to 75-th anniversary of Tatenergo, which the power engineering specialists of Tatarstan will celebrate in December this year , gathered all of the history of Republicаn power system from the beginning. Chronology of basic milestones of the holding development, history of each company, change of generations of the power engineering specialists and technologies in big power engineering of Tatarstan , persons and events and present managers of the power company - everything is reflected in respective divisions of historical site.

Besides this virtual museum of the power system contains unique "expositions" – electronic archives of historical photos, posters and audio- video materials illustrating the epoch from the history of the power engineering industry. Here also is placed the list of power engineering specialists оf Tatarstan , awarded with industry and government awards for 75 years.

Site has been developed by specialists of the news center of the power holdingа under general edition of General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev.

One more manager of Tatarstan big power engineering awarded the government prize. This time The Letter of Thanks by President of Republic of Tatarstan came to the Director of Naberezhnye Chelny cogeneration plant of Generation Company of the holding "Tatenergo" Sergei Malofeyevich Tyuklin. This government award was given for his long term work for the well-being of Tatarstan and significant input in development of the Republican power system.

Under management of Sergei Tyuklin the Naberezhnye Chelny plant that had to provide the fast construction of Tatarstan car giant, turned from the cogeneration plant of KamAZ into the significant source of heat and electricity for the biggest center of Republic . Today it is the only plant to heat the residential block of population over 400 thousand people and provides the Naberezhnye Chelny’s industry with energy. The plant for many years has been an example for the other energy companies, being a leader in terms of culture of production and realization of environmental policy and in social life.

The new building of Saby RPU of Yelabuga division of sale company "Energosbyt" opened". G.Zakirova street, 58 this is the address of the new administration building of Saby RPU.

In JSC "Kazan Thermal Grid Company" the youth research-practical conference was held. At the conference were presented eight works – about heat supply and IT technologies and building of strategy of they company. The works of the young specialists were assessed by the expeRT commission chaired by General Director of JSC "КТC" S.Hismatullin.

The winner, the leading engineer of KIP&A lab Stanislav Lantarev, the author of the work "Soft-Hardware for remote data collection from the meters, installed from the dispatched TTP on base of electronic commuters" was recommended to file for a copyright in view of its innovative character.

Deeds by Tatarstan power engineering specialists will be cited in the history of Naberezhnye Chelny. In the letter that came to manager of Republican energy holding, the administration of Naberezhnye Chelny thanks power engineering specialists for impersonal help in establishing the Museum of the town, one of the biggest museums in Republic of Tatarstan. It will contain the materials displaying the various history of the town of power engineering specialists, car designers, and workers of other industries. One more division of sale company "Energosbyt" of holding "Tatenergo" house warmed. Pestretsy Regional Production Unit (RPU) of Privolzhskie division of "Energosbyt" moved from the small room rented since 1998 to the new premise built meeting the modern requirements.

To date this RPU renders services to over 9.5 subscribers, of them - about 300 legal entities and 9,301 individuals.

Young Tatarstan power engineering specialists are among the winners of general Republican review of amateur talent groups. The recent Kazan festival has been organized by Federation of Tatarstan trade unions, Republican branch committees, trade unions of the enterprises, Youth council of Federation of trade unions of Republic of Tatarstan. In total in the review participated over four hundred contesters from eighteen trade union organizations.

Tatar folk dance by Diana Shakirova from Naberezhnye Chelny Cogeneration Plant ranked third in nomination " Folk Choreography". Young power engineering specialists from Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant were awarded the two prizes fro vocal skills, after ranking second in nomination "Pop Vocal" with solo song "Hey, sailor!", performed by Dilyara Isayeva, and in the nominations "Folk Vocal" with composition "Oh, not evening yet" performed by original team of the station.

JSC "Tatenergo" awarded the International premium "Leader of Economical Development of Russia". This premium was founded by International Foundation of Development "EuroAsia", International Organization of Entrepreneurs, Investment Company US PRIORITI INTERPRISE, International Economical Social Foundation.

For high figures of development of the Tatarstan energy holding, contributing to economical growth and social well being of Russian Federation and realization of Program of President of Russian Federation for doubling the GDP by 2010, JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded the name of Laureate of International premium of 2006 and granted the Diploma of the Leader of economical growth and golden figure of Mercury on malachite base.

Descent of journalists on Naberezhnye Chelny cogeneration plant. Press conference held on November 24 on Naberezhnye Chelny cogeneration plant was devoted to the 35-th anniversary and 75-th anniversary of JSC "Tatenergo". It was attended by representatives from city and Republican media. The many interested questions by journalists were answered by Director of Naberezhnye Chelny cogeneration plant Sergei Tyuklin and his team.

The tour was organized for the around the cogeneration plant. They familiarized with operation of health treatment complex, water pretreatment shop, visited major control board and museum of the cogeneration plant.

Tatarstan power engineering specialists awarded two prizes for energy conservation. General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev has been awarded the Honor scroll of Ministry of Industry and Power Engineering Industry of Russian Federation for big personal input in development of the industries of CHP, many -year scrupulous work and successful realization of the policy of energy resource conservation. Generation Company of the holding "Tatenergo" was awarded the memorial prize and Diploma of the winner of Republican competition in nomination "Electrical Power Engineering Industry" for realization of the industry program of Energy Resource Efficiency and achievements in fuel saving. These awards were granted at the yesterday meeting of the Government of Republic of Tatarstan , held in Kazan as part of VII International symposium " Energy Resource Efficiency and Energy Conservation" and VIII Specialized exhibition "Power Engineering Industry. Resource Conservation - 2006".

"TatAISenergo" became a General Contractor of JSC "Tatenergo". Reorganization of the branch for provision of information-telecommunication services of Tatarstan energy holding is another step in reforming the Republican power system. The former branch is divided according to activity, the apparatus of the Head Quarters of "Tatenergo" will include the position of Director for information technologies, the coordinator for utilized projects in the holding on the whole, and who will be personally responsible for utilization and operation of information technologies. The Directorate for information technologies will be the basic customer of the company "TatAISenergo", rendering services on the contract basis.

Director for IT reports to Director for information technologies of Generation and Grid Companies, and the Director for information technologies will be Oleg Ivanovich Karpenko, former Director of reorganized branch "TatAISenergo" –adviser of the first Deputy General Director -Director for Economics and Finances of JSC "Tatenergo". Director of the new company "TatAISenergo" will be Alexander Borisovich Smirnov, former Deputy Director of "TatAISenergo".

President of Republicи Mintimer Shaimiev : "Cheap energy of the thermal plants will replace the heat from small boiler houses". ". In Kazan was held the meeting of Government of Republic with participation of Presidentа of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Premier of RT Rustam Minnehanov and Chairman of National Council of RT Farid Muhametshin. The agenda was implementation of the Program "Energy Resource Efficiency" in Republic of Tatarstan in 2006-2010". About realization of enhancing the energy resource efficiency of JSC "Tatenergo" spoke the Deputy General Director of JSC "Generation Company" Ilgizar Zakirov. Mintimerа Shaimiev, he interested in possible installing of ultra filtration device of capacity 270 t/h at Zainsk Plant, reducing the cost of water pretreatment by 80%, and own developments of Kazan plant –3, as a result of which implementation the plant does not emit sewage waters.

President of RT told that this is the example of that the new projects improve the ecological situation. When the attendants spoke about the district heating project of "Tatenergo" in Naberezhnye Chelny, the head of Republic put a task to reach the same result in Kazan.

Works of the Tatarstan power engineering specialists fоr enhancing efficiency of production acknowledged in both the holding and as part of International exhibition.In Tatenergo was held the summary research-practical conference, that determined the best project of the young power engineering specialists fro improving the power system.

During the Forum were awarded the won by the Tatarstan power holding prizes in competition of equipment and technologies. It was held as part of VIII International Exhibition "Power Engineering Industry. Resource Efficiency" attended by 200 firms from 16 countries of the world.

The attendants of the research-practical conference presented 25 works on each activity of the holding. Many have been utilized in production and bring benefit to improvement of the power system companies operation. First place was awarded to "Actions Aimed at Enhancing the Technical –Economical Figures of the Energy Boiler ТGM-84 B", presented by the senior machinist of the boiler shop of Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP Ainur Garaev. Third place was awarded to the report "Software for Enhancing the Accuracy of the AIIS KUE Data in Application Tasks", written by engineers of "TatAISenergo" V.Maktesov and Е.Zakamski.

The PhD thesis of the young dispatcher of TSDS of Regional Dispatch Office of "Tatenergo" Bulat Ahmerov "Optimization of enhancing the effectiveness of regime of voltage and reactive power of the feeding grids of Tatarstan power system" was awarded two prizes. In the power holding it ranked second. Among the equipment and technologies, presented at the International Exhibition of power resource conservation ranked third. For developed by Bulat software for calculation of the settings of automatic regulator of voltage of auto transformer of the feeding grid of the power system of JSC "RDU Tatenergo" was awarded the Bronzed Diploma.

In total the competition organizer determined 14 Diplomas: one Grand -Pris awarded to Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP for development and utilization of deaerator of double purpose, three golden, three silver and four encouraging. Golden Diploma received Kazan CHPP-1 for utilization of the new technologies of generation, embodied in the one of the first in Volga region GT. Silver Diploma was awarded to Grid Company of the holding for the system of arch protection СРЗ-1 with improved interference protection. Generation Company JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded the Diploma of Government of Republic for active involvement in realization of the Program "Energy Resource Effectiveness оf Republic of Tatarstan for 2006-2010 " and achievement of high figures of energy effectiveness in the economy of Republic of Tatarstan".

On 9 December in Naberezhnye Chelny HC "Power Engineering Specialists " the competition of amateur teams was held among the companies of JSC "Tatenergo", devoted to the 75th anniversary of the company. Traditional holiday of the power engineering specialists оf Republicи became the bright event both in corporate live of the "Tatenergo" holding and cultural life of the town. 30 power companies applied for participation, 280 of industry staff stood on this day in front of then strict and unbiased jury headed by Director of HC Gulzada Rzaeva, аnd 400 and more power engineering specialists headed by the heads of the company branches came to Naberezhnye Chelny to be fans of the colleagues.

To support the most gifted staff of the holding came to Chelny the General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" llshat Fardiev. The competition was held in one stage : within the day and practically without the breaks. Presentations were assessed in 3 disciplines: folk song, pop song and dance.

First place took the Nizhnekamsk CHPP, second – Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP, third – Nizhnekamsk HPP. In the nomination: "Folk Song" won the Naberezhnye Chelny operational region of KTS, in the nomination "Pop Song" – Vyacheslav Kozelkov frоm Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP, "Dance" – Nizhnekamsk HPP. This collective were awarded from trade union of "Elektroprofsoyuz" Diplomas of winners and money prizes in 20, 15 and 10 thousand rubles respectively according to rank. Special prizes were awarded to Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP – "For Original Performance of Folk Song" and Almetievsk PTS – "For Mass and master Performance", аnd Chistopol power networks received Prized of spectator sympathy.

On 13 December in National Museum of Republic of Tatarstan exposition, devoted to the 75th anniversary of "Tatenergo". "Today when the Tatarstan power engineering awaits the extensive upgrading, we must remain to next generation the memory of the start, no future without history", - said the General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev.

In exposition of the power holding was presented the history of both of the company аnd the entire power engineering and territory – from the first scientific experiments for use of electricity for lightning and appearance of the first electrical plant of direct current till utilization of the advanced modern equipment..

At the opening of exhibition at National Museum were present the veterans of the power engineering industry and the young specialists and heads of the power companies of the power holding. They were unanimous that the famous traditions of the Tatarstan power engineering specialists shall be enhanced and continued.

Naberezhnye Chelny electrical grids of Tatarstan power holding reconstructed the first turn of substation "KBK". Upgrading the equipment of the substation was done because of the earlier replacement of the switches at Zainsk Condensation Plant , frоm which along the two-chain line the substation is fed up.

At the substation "KVK" the oil switches and VМТ-110 were replaced with SF6 switches produced by АВВ with с sets of microprocessor protections , which allowed to considerably increase their reliability and promptness. Also with modern circuit breakers were replaced the 110 kV equipment, were installed the SF6 current transformers and mounted the new accumulator battery "Vв VARTA" with the charging device ZVU. In total the Tatarstan power engineering specialists from the beginning of this year overhauled of the equipment of 35 substations and complex repair of 16 substations.

The new building of Kazan division of town division of "Energosbyt" of JSC "Tatenergo" opened". Now the company is located on Academic Gubkin street, 30.

In the last years in Tatarstan capital energy consumption increases, as well as the number of subscribers. If in 1998 the electrical energy in Kazan was supplied to 2,800 subscribers - legal entities, as of the beginning of October 2006 the number of subscribers - legal was already about 4. 5 thousand. Regarding the heat, the statistics is as follows: 1998 - about 400 subscribers, 2006 - 2,730. Besides, KGО serves 48,000 subscribers– individuals. In average per year the division realized energy for 8 billion rubles .

For more efficient work with households, in КGО were established "Central", "Northern", "Eastern" and "Western" production locations. They are located in various districts of the town and require fast solution of the questions of subscribers and creation of favorable conditions for their servicing.

Tatarstan power engineering specialists awarded governmental awards of Republic. By Decree of President of RT the honorable title "Honorable Power Engineering Specialist of Republic of Tatarstan" was awarded to staff of the JSC "Tatenergo" holding - Rustem Davletshin - Deputy General Director of JSC "Kazan Thermal Grid Company"; Gamir Latipov - Director of Almetievsk electrical grids of JSC "Grid Company"; Morgachev Anatoli - head of Zainsk RES of Nizhnekamsk electrical grids of JSC "Grid Company" and Ramil Husainov - Director of Nizhnekamsk CHPP of JSC "Generation Company".

By the same Decree by President of RT the title "Honorable Economist of Republic of Tatarstan" was awarded to Natalia Alexeevna Nikirina - Deputy Director for Economy and Finances of the branch of JSC "Generation Company " Nizhnekamsk CHP.

Tatarstan power engineering specialists received many congratulations in view of 75th Jubilee and professional holiday. The congratulations were sent to JSC "Tatenergo" by President of RT М.S. Shaimiev , Chairman of the Board of RAO "UES Russia " А.B. Chubais, Chairman of the Board of JSC "HydroOGC" V. Sinyugin, General Director of Schneider Electric in Russia and СIS Pierre Levek, first Deputy Prime-Minister of RT Minister of Economy and Industry Boris Pavlov.

Results of competition of children drawings for 75th anniversary of "Tatenergo", been summoned. Over one hundred of drawings reflecting the every-day labor of the power engineering specialists, power and role of power system, power engineering specialists and symbol of progress – such present made for Jubilee of the power system the children of its staff.

All of the drawings that were in the competition, were placed in electronic form on corporate portal of JSC "Tatenergo", and the best authors were determined by the power engineering specialists themselves by interactive voting. The most number of the votes – 60 through 167 – the staff of the power holding gave to 30 of 114 pieces of children art. From among these thirty leaders the jury of the competition chose the winners in the nominations, and these nominations in the competition numbered 15.

In KRK "Pyramid" was held the action devoted to 75 years of the Tatarstan power system formation. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev came to congratulate the power engineering specialists. As well as first Deputy Chairman of RF Duma Oleg Morozov, Chairman of national Council of RT Farid Muhametshin, managers of basic consumers of electrical and thermal energy of Republic. The Jubilee of the events devoted to celebration of the 75-th anniversary of Tatenergo formation, gathered in Kazan cultural and entertainment complex "Pyramid" the entire core of the energy pyramid – for veterans, who had laid strong foundation of the Tatarstan power system, heroes of power production and managers of today, who are its strong base, to the young specialists оf the holding, who present the future of the industry.

General Director of "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev familiarized with basic milestones of the industry development of Republic. "Tatarstan power engineering specialists together with the country went all of the stages of its history - heroic constructions of the 1930’s, was wins of 1940’s, labor accomplishments and heroism of the first quinquenniums, perestroika, restructuring and reforming of the power engineering industry", - emphasized Ilshat Fardiev.

75 years of "Tatenergo" history may be divided into two periods - stage of making of 70 years, and the last 5 years, the real breakthrough. In the course of reforms of electric power engineering the company was entirely reorganized. As a result we got the dynamic development, growth of capitalization of the power holding, entrance upon the wholesale market of electricity, positive figures of financial and investment activity. All of this, said Ilshat Fardiev, is accompanied by increase of the level of environmental and social responsibility of the collective. "We become more professional, tough, energetic, as competition market environment requires power, - he emphasized. - Power engineering industry is a difficult business, requiring flexible, dynamic solutions, technological innovations".

Among the prospective tasks Ilshat Fardiev stressed strengthening the power potential of Republic, including the preparation to commissioning the capacities for thousand kilowatts, prоvision of reliable heat and electricity supply to residential settlements, achievement of competitiveness on the market of electricity.

The major guest of yesterday celebrations President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev began his speech wit rhetoric question to the power engineering specialists: "It is interesting will the holiday take place if there are no heat and light?". Saying that 75 years is a very short time period regarding historical point of view, stressed the head of the Republic, and within these years the industry reached the high technological level. "I believe that the development of the power engineering industry is they best display of technical progress, - continued President. – You reached the level of one of the leading and most efficiently operating company in Russia ".

Mintimer Shaimiev wished the power engineering specialists to continue improving and utilize the advanced world technologies "to be advanced". He recollected big powers of power objects of Republic, which potential is used only by one third. In opinion of the head of Republic, increased electricity generation could reduce its cost and realized by acceptable tariff on the wholesale market.

Mintimer Shaimiev emphasized the exceptional ability of top-managers оf JSC "Tatenergo" to respond to challenges. "Where there is the necessity to develop and enlarge our industrial potential, agri-industrial complex, there are the demands for electricity, an you always create these capacities beforehand", - he emphasized.

President thanked the veterans and recollected the legendary managers of "Tatenergo" Victor Shibanov and Nikolai Banykin, who united their intellect to reach high achievements.

Mintimer Shaimiev awarded to General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev the Letter of Thanks. Besides were awarded with medal "In Memory of Kazan Millennium" the Director of Urussu Condensation Plant Vladimir Petrov, who gad worked for 37 years in the oldest in Republic plant.

The title "Honorable Economist of RT" was presented to Chief Accountant of the head-quarters of JSC "Generation Company" Yekaterina Zemtsova and Deputy Director for Economy and Finances of Nizhnekamsk CHPP Natalia Nikirina. Documents of awarding the title "Honored Power Engineering Specialist of RT" were awarded to Director of Almetievsk electrical grids Gamir Latipov, head of Zainsk division of Nizhnekamsk electrical grids Anatoli Morgachev, head of Nizhnekamsk CHPP Ramil Husainov, Director of Kazan Thermal Grids Ramil Urazaev, General Director of JSC "Kamenergoremont-Holding" ("KER-holding") Khamis Makhyanov and Deputy General Director – Technical Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilgizar Gaifullin.

Finally, in the gala part of the evening Ilshat Fardiev congratulated the winners of Republicаn competition of journalists "Many-face power engineering industry" and invited to the floor the most "energetic" authors – editor of construction department of the newspaper "Republic of Tatarstan" Irina Demina, editor of department of industry of the newspaper "Republic of Tatarstan" Yelena Taran, editor of the industrial news of the newspaper "Vatanym Tatarstan" Ilsiyar Hairullin, commentator of VGTRC "Tatarstan" Nail Vazyhov and reporter of Russian information agency АКМ Anvar Malikov. – These authors for many years write about the power engineering, so I refer them to my colleagues.
