JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded a corporate management rating В+ for the second year in succession. It is an evidence that the practice of corporate management of the companies meets the requirements of Russian applicable laws, the risks of the corporate management are moderate.

Opening of dispatch station in Almetievsk electrical grids

In Almetievsk electrical grids of JSC "Tatenergo" the solemn opening of dispatch control station. The new control board, unique in the power system of Republic, was commissioned. As the general director of JSC "Tatenergo" I Fardiev told at the opening ceremony the new control station is a significant step towards further automation of energy supply management.

Mounted in the new dispatch station of Almetievsk electrical grids, the board DSCHS-2000 produced by NTK "Interfeis" (Yekaterinburg) of the area of 64 m² allows to trace even the flows of electrical capacity. The mimic diagram includes over 250 substations with highest voltage 35-220 kV, which are in the area of servicing the companies with metering the substations consumers. Central receipt-transfer system (CPPS) incorporates 40 telemechanics channels on basis of OIK Win NT, that allows to receive real-time information on state of equipment in substations and elements of the electrical grids scheme, and to administer the communication substations equipment directly from the control station.

The "Golden" boiler and turbine of the power system were defined. Commission, including the technical managers of the power system and the heads of the divisions and the services, considered and analyzed the results and conditions of the aggregates, pretending for the name of "Golden Boiler " and "Golden Turbine".

Each member of the commission evaluated the figures of the each aggregate regarding the six criteria. Regarding each figure the turbine generator #7 Т-100-130 of Naberezhnye Chelny cogeneration plant became the leader. The turbineР-100-130 of Niz cogeneration plant –1 ranked second , turbine Р-50-130 of Kazan cogeneration plant -2 ranked third.

General director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev was decorated with the Honor sign of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

As it is said in the Order signed by Minister of RF for civil defense, emergency situations and liquidation of the Acts of God, Mr. Sergei Shoigu, this honorable award was given to the manager of Tatarstan power system for "achievements in development and provision of good operation of Russian system, prevention of emergency situations, prevention and liquidation of the emergency situations and doing the service tasks". For managing the civil defense in Republic Tatarstan, for big input in solving the civil defense-related issues, protection of population and territory of Republic of Tatarstan from the emergency situations, director of Zainsk condensation plant Yuri Kozharin was awarded. This condensation plant is system station both in our Republic, and in entire Russia.

The awards were awarded to winners of the All-Russian competition "Engineer of the Year–2004", held by the Russian union of scientific and engineering public organizations on the annual basis. According to version of "Professional Engineers" the high appreciation was given to Sergei Nikolaevich Kondratiev, Chief engineer of Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant -1 and Anvar Hafizovich Shakirov, Chief engineer of Nizhnekamskих electrical grids. In nomination "Engineering art of the young" Rustem Fansurovich Ahmetov, Deputy of Chief Engineer, а of head service of distribution grids of Almetievsk electrical grids became a Laureate in "Engineer of the Year" competition. According to results of the tour of the competetion the jury awarded the title of "Professional Engineer of Russia" to Sagit Mubarakzyanovich Valiullin, executive director LTD "Kamenergoremont".

In Kazan the meeting was held regarding the issues of optimization of level of Nizhnekamskого water basin with participation of representatives of Tatarstanа, Udmurtia, Bashkortostan and Perm region. Delegations from each region wee headed by Prime-Minister of RT Rustam Minnihanov, Deputy Chairman of Government of Udmurtia Victor Saveliev, Minister of Natural Resources of Bashkortostan Alfred Fauhutdinov, Chairman of Committee for Power Engineering Evgeni Malyshev. Perm region for the first time joined this process. Rustam Minnihanov called the design part the significant stage of the work, related to water basin. Then will follow the environmental expertise in Ministry of Ecology of RF and Stat expertise in Minpromenergo of RF.

The Central Dispatch service of JSC "Tatenergo" celebrated the 65 anniversary from the date of its foundation. The history of its building goes far back. At those times in view of development of energy business of TASSR the necessity rose in coordination of work of the companies and power engineering entities specialists . In February 2004 the new stage started in operation of dispatch service.

Nizhnekamsk hydro power plant

On the territory of Nizhnekamsk hydro power plant the meeting of the Supervisory Council of non-profit partnership "Hydro -Power Engineering Industry of Russia" was held. Meeting was held by Board member of RAO "UES Rossii", Chairman of the Board of founded in 2004 the JSC "Federal Hydro-Generation company" (JSC "GidroOGK") Vyacheslav Sinyugin. He told to define the place of this type generation on background of completing reform of power engineering industry in Russia in total. The executive General director Rasim Haziahmetov, General director of management company "Volzhski Hydro-energy cascade" spoke on realization of program of priority activities of the partnership for 2004-2005.

The Board of Directors approved the dividend policy of JSC "Tatenergo". The document defined principles to be guided by the Council of directors in making recommendations to general meeting of stockholders of the party regarding paying out dividends on common stocks and amount of dividends.

On basis of results of Republican public competition "Manager of the Year-2004" General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" I.Fardiev was called the best manager fro the most efficient personnel policy. Among the winners were director of Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant -1 Ramil Husainov became the winner and directors of Kazan cogeneration plant -1 Rashid Bahteev and Nizhnekamskих electrical grids Rushad Mustafin – Laureates in nomination "Power engineering specialist". They were awarded breast Golden signs with Diplomas, the laureates were awarded the Diplomas signed by Prime –Minister of RT.

Honor scroll "For big input in development of economy of Tatarstan Republic"

The ceremony of awarding of the best managers of the Republic was attended by President of Tatarstanа Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of National Council Farid Muhamedshin, managers of ministries, deputies of the National Council of RT, head of administrations of regions of Republic, general directors of industrial and agricultural companies and organizations .

Energy company of Tatarstan got one more award for the input in innovative work. For results of last yearа by Order of Minister of economics and industry RT the JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded a cup and scroll of Ministry of Economics and Industry of RT "for big input in development of economics of Republic of Tatarstan and for best innovative, patent –license work in 2004."

The general works regarding installation of GTU on Kazan cogeneration plant -1. completed. By 1st March two boiler –utilizes were installed made by Taganrog boiler plant.

GTU at Kazan cogeneration plant -1

By mid of March the mounting of stacks and high pressure gas cables completed, by the end of month the construction of sites for servicing and foundation of the boiler gas wastes completed. On territory of stations was erected the new building of foam generation installation. On 11 March specialists went to Lysva in Perm region to take part in tests of generator of gas turbine installation.

Board of Directors of JSC "Tatenergo" decided to build regional administration as a joint stock Company according to Federal law dd., 26 March 2003, #36-FZ, banning from 1 April 2006 doing the purchase-sale and production of energy and energy transfer and electricity dispatching at the same time and according to resolution by RF d., 27.12.2004 #854 "About Approval of regulations of operative-control management in power engineering industry". Close JSC "RDU "Tatenergo" was registered on 2 March, 2005.

The Board of Directors of JSC "Grid company", JSC "Generation company" and JSC "Tatenergo" were held. The of directors made decisions on building the branches of above-mentioned companies . By resolutions of Boards of Directors were assigned managers of these branches and organizational structures of Grid and Generation companies were approved. The two companies, and Control center of the power system, have been founded as part of rеorganizations by JSC "Tatenergo".

At the regular meeting of the Council of Reliability of RAO "UES Rossii" the next issues were discussed – experience of JSC "Tatenergo" in provision reliable Single energy system during reforms. Members of the Council called the separation of non-core companies from JSC "Tatenergo" structure and building on base of general contractors the repair service, the only right decision to date. Special interest of Chairman of the Board of JSC RAO "UES Rossii" А.B.Chubais caused integration relations of Tatarstan power engineering specialists with housing sphere of Republic, specifically, supply of heat, development of network infrastructure of Kazan in light of 1000 birthday of the city. Regarding these problems Tatarstan power engineering specialists have solutions. The activity of JSC "Tatenergo" regarding reliability was appreciated by the Unified energy system as good.

At Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange the one and a half million bond loan of JSC "Tatenergo" was successfully placed. Bank "Zenit" acted as paying agent, underwriter and organizer of issuance of first coupon of three-year bonds, which fact echoed in business circles of Russia and Tatarstan. Regarding bonds issuance of "Tatenergo" the market players demonstrated interest, which is evidence of respect and confidence, displayed by investors regarding intensive work of management of the companies with the goal of modernization of management techniques.

Zainsk Condensation Plant

At Zainsk condensation plant the final stage of adjustment of installation of system of automatic frequency regulation is completing, and capacity of (SARCHM) of turbine aggregate of block №12 is upgraded. Modernization covered hydraulic part of the system of turbine regulating and the logics of energy block control, which is now based on coordinated base of software complex "OVATION". The goal is to control active capacity generated by generator according to task of attending personnel and according to changes of frequency in the power system .

Results of tests of modernized system showed meeting by SARCHM the requirements of the Order а #524 "RAO UES Rossii", put to system of rated primary adjustment in terms of non-sensitiveness and speed

Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant -1 became a Laureate of prestigious All- Russian competition "Russian organization of high social efficiency" in nomination "Work with Youth". Awarding of winners of competition was in State Kremlin Palace in Moscow. At the ceremony ware presented - Deputy Personnel Director and social work of Niz cogeneration plant -1 Renat Saifullin and Chairman of trade union of the station Leonti Alexeev, they were awarded Diploma of Laureate. 842 companies of Russia, 29 of which presented the energy industry took part in competition .

Since first April the Tatarstan energy company disintegrated according to activity. Since 1 April, 2005 the branches of JSC "Tatenergo": JSC "Generation company", JSC "Grid company" и JSC "RDU "Tatenergo" started independent production activity in the area of production, transfer, distribution and dispatching of heat and electricity. Reforming of "Tatenergo" started in 2001 already. The non-core divisions were separated - the servicing companies - repair, auto transport, construction, engineer center "Energoprogress" , raining center etc. Last year "Energoshchit Ltd" as founded, where some one and half thousand staff for protection the "Tatenergo" entities. As a result the personnel of the energy companies reduced from 25 th. till 14.3 th.

Reconstruction of water pretreatment installation for desalted water production

At Zainsk condensation plant the first stage of reconstruction of water pretreatment installation was completed. The pre-cleaning HVO was commissioned. It ws made using the advanced membrane technology, on design by Ural TEP and NPP "Biotehprogress" and Holland firm Norit Process Technology. Installation includes сthree modules of capacity regarding permeate 90 t/hr. Each module has 44 ultra violet elements Norit/X-Flow. The installation is computerized and may work unattended. The installation allowed to transfer the desalting installation HVJ with initial artesian water to Kama water, mineralization of which is less by 40-50%. This allowed to save for the I quarter of 2005 only, 40 t of sulfuric acid and 12 t of alkali.

General director of JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded the title "Honored power engineering specialist of Republic of Tatarstan". Awarding was held in Kazan Kremlin. Congratulating I. Fardiev, President of RT remarked that "never Tatarstan Power Engineering Industry developed so successfully as now". M. Shaimiev said that development and modernization of production should make the electricity cheaper.

Golden medal "European Quality"

"Without it, - Mintimer Sharipovich stressed, - our products will not meet the severe market competition". As Ilshat Shaehovich says, the awarded title is a high appreciation of work of entire personnel of the power system of Republic and a result of the hard stage in industry development.

Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant -1 became Laureate of international competition "Golden Medal "European Quality". Competition was sponsored by International Academy of quality and marketing, its final stage was held in Saint –Petersburg. Improving the technical and economical, ecological, financial and social figures at Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant -1 is associated with new innovative activities in the region.

Three years in sequence the station won the I place in review –competition regarding innovative work among the branches of JSC "Tatenergo". In 2004 the workers of stations presented 509 innovative offers and 332 offers were implemented.

JSC "Tatenergo" has commissioned the new version of external Web-site of the company

JSC "Tatenergo" commissioned the new version of external Web site of the company. It has a nice design, simple navigation, new services, allowing to locate the information fast and easy.

Site is a part of policy of information openness , allowing the outside people be aware of activities of the power system, familiarize with history and new projects and plans. This Web site became a single information facility for power engineering specialists in Tatarstan. Each participant in production makes his or her input in its information accumulation.

At each branch of JSC "Tatenergo" the veterans of World War II and home front fighter were honored. To this date in the main office of energy company was mounted the nice stand with names and photos of participants of events of 1941-45. For celebration of 60 -th anniversary of Victory in World War II the JSC "Tatenergo" allocated 7.5 m r. 2.5 m were allocated to Republican foundation of Victory . The same money went to organization of free recreation for veterans of power system in Tatarstan sanatoriums. 2 m 163/6 th. went for organization of celebrations and paying out the lump-sum material help to veterans, home fighters and soldiers –internationalists, which soldiers in JSC "Tatenergo" constitute over 1,300.

Jubilee album - "... and remembers the saved world, the eternal world, the living world"

Zainsk condensation plant issued Jubilee album, dedicated to veterans of World War II and home front fighter. It reads in detail about input of Zakamie power engineering specialists in Victory. In album are placed the memories of the veterans, photos, full list of the 138 veterans of Zainsk condensation plant , who had took part in construction of the station. The action is opened with thanks words from general director of JSC "Tatenergo" I.S.Fardiev. On the eve of 9 May at Zainsk condensation plant was held the opening of monument on the territory of the station for the Victory day. It is devoted to those who took part in construction and operation of Tatarstan power engineering industry during the war.

The regular meeting of Trustee Council of Charity foundation а "Care" in JSC "Tatenergo" was held. The charity activity of foundation is done on address basis, on basis of specific applications from workers of the power system. Support from "Care" for power engineering specialists was received in treatment of hard diseases, surgeries, purchasing pharmaceuticals. The foundation is also attending the retired workers of the power system.

The journal "Power Engineering Industry of Tatarstan "started being published, the journal is founded by JSC "Tatenergo", "KamEnergoRepairHolding LTD " and "Engineering Center "Energoprogress Ltd". Federal service for inspection of law meting in the area of mass communications and protection of culture issued certificate on t\registration of the new media. New journal will cover issues of activity of the power system , equipment operation, utilization of new technologies in the area of production of electrical and thermal energy. journal is designed for managers and each-level specialists of the energy companies , companies of construction, housing companies.

Input of power engineering specialists in improving the environmental condition in Tatarstan capital was spoken of at the session of Kazan Council of peoples’ deputies. In report on results of implementation of Program "Improving environment in Kazan for 2004-2008". The head center of social territory office of Ministry of ecology and natural resources of Tatarstan Republic I.Frolov told that due to economy of energy sources in JSC "Tatenergo" in the last year the success was achieved in reducing the load on aerial basin in capital of Republic. Thus, with increase of formation of production wastes in the city, in branches JSC "Tatenergo" we see reduction of their formation by over 7.2 th. t. The program was implemented in 2004 by 50%, the expenses for taking nature conservation actions by power engineering specialists were over 167,4 m. rubles. This is 36% of all the costs of the companies in Kazan.

Diploma "Best accountant of Russia 2004"

Chief accountant JSC "Tatenergo" R. Safina awarded Diploma "Best accountant Russia 2004". Award was given at VI forum of accountants and auditors, sponsored by Association of accountants and auditors, Academy of metering of Russia, International Association of accountants (England) and Academy of economics and finances (USA). Last year the accountant service of JSC "Tatenergo" was recognized the winner of the First All-Russian competition "The best service of accounting in Russia-2004", organized as part of International forum of accountants and auditors of International Academy of economics and finance, and Rauza Timerovna was awarded Honorable sign "Eminent accountant of Russian accounting".

The results for 2004 were summoned and the annual meetings of branch companies of JSC "Tatenergo" were held. For the first time decision was made to pay out dividends in the next companies "EC "Energoprogress LTD ", "PRP "Tatenergorepair LTD ", "Tatthermalinsulation LTD " and "City Accounting Center LTD ".

Kinderi -500 – microprocessor protection relay in auto-transformers

At system substation "Kinderi-500" for the first time in JSC "Tatenergo" the domestic microprocessor protection relay of auto transformers. This facility for control of insulation of inputs of voltage 500 kV (KIV-500), developed and made by scientific-production company "EKRA" (Cheboksary), allows to register emergency situations, monitor readings and connect to automated management system. The built-in functions of oscillation allows to record current parameters which reduces emergencies. Microprocessor relay protection ,commissioned at substation "Kinderi-500", is second such device at power engineering entities of Russia. It meets requirements of standards of Russia and requirements of international electro- technical commission (MEK).

Diploma of environmental forum "Humane. Nature. Science. Technologies"

Power engineering specialists were given four awards in the ecological forum "Humane. Nature. Science. Technologies". For active participation in the organized as part of forum, exhibition the JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded Diploma of Ministry of ecology and natural resources of RT and organizers of exposition the Moscow Exhibition holding MVK and MVK-Volga (Kazan). For effective ecological program the Generation company of the power system was awarded Diploma of the winner of annual Republican competition "EKOleader", held by Ministry of ecology and natural resources of Tatarstan and Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic

Separate award in this nomination was given to Naberezhnye Chelny cogeneration plant . Nizhnekamsk station was awarded Diploma in competition for utilization of resource conservation technologies. Costs of JSC "Tatenergo" for financing the nature conservation for the four previous years increased by 35%, the polluting emissions into the air reduced by 55,4%. Volume of recycled emissions increased by over 5 times.

The annual general meeting of JSC "Tatenergo" stockholders was held on results for 2004. Stockholders approved the annual reports of the company and annual accounting reporting, including, profit and loss account, Statement fro Audit commission and new wording of JSC "Tatenergo" charter, the auditor was named - the JSC "Firm "Audit-Consulting". At the meeting the Board of Directors of JSC "Tatenergo" was elected: Alexander Petrovich Volodkevich – head of department of legislative establishment of Cabinet of Ministers of RT; Radik Raufovich Gaizatullin – Minister of finances of RT; Gulsina Munirovna Minnehanova – First Deputy General Director of JC "Tatenergo" – director for economics and finances; Boris Petrovich Pavlov – First Deputy Prime-Minister of RT-Minister of economics and industry of RT; Raisa Abdullovna Sahieva – Head of State – Legal Office of President of RT; Farid Haidarovich Tuktarov – Deputy Minister of economics and industry of RT; Ilshat Shaehovich Fardiev – General Director of JSC "Tatenergo"; Lutfulla Nurislamovich Shafigullin – First Deputy Minister of land and property relations of RT; Yuri Vladimirovich Shchelokov – director of close JSC "RDU Tatenergo". At the next general meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC "Tatenergo" B.P. Pavlov was elected a Chairman. The Audit commission wаs also elected at the meeting. Prime-Minister RT R.N. Minnehanov attended the meeting, he gave high appreciation of the activity of Company.

The annual meetings of stockholders of branch companies: JSC "Grid company", JSC "Generation company" and JSC "Control Center" were held, at which meetings the results for 2004 were summoned, the Board of Directors were elected, the audit commissions.

Bugulma power engineering specialists proved readiness to tasks realization in emergency situations In the course of inspection in Bugulma and in Bugulma region. The complex inspection and command-staff training on themes of civil defense and emergency situations were held according to Schedule of basic actions of Tatarstan Republic for 2005. Commission headed by Deputy Minister for civil defense and emergency situations of Tatarstan Republic Minsagit Ziganshin was given high grade for the degree of readiness of the power engineering divisions. At the competition the emergency -technical subdivision of service of power engineering specialists and dim-out displayed good knowledge of responsibilities.

Service of prospective development celebrated forty years since foundation. Organized in 1965, the service of prospective development occupied stable position in production of the Tatarstan power system . In the present, the service of prospective development , after union with service of technical refurbishment, received the new title – Department of Investments. The basic task will be to develop investment program of development of production capacities of JSC "Tatenergo" fro the future.

Sanatorium of resort Sochi - "Golden Spike"

The meeting of the Board of Ministry of Land and Property relations of Republic of Tatarstan was held, at which meeting the plan of privatization of GUP " Tatelektroset" was approved. Privatization of the companies is done according to resolution of the Council of Security of RT dd., 5 August 2003, and according to Resolution by Cabinet of Ministers of RT dd., 22 September, 2003, #504. As a result of privatization will be founded the open stock company "Tatelektroset" with 100% state –owned share. The authorized capital is in amount of 797, 966 th. rubles. GUP "Tatelektroset" was founded in December 2003 by merging the 17 companies of municipal electrical grids of RPO "Tatkommunenergo".

Sanatorium "Golden Spike" celebrated 70’s birthday from the date of its formation. One of the oldest resorts turned into the of the best and comfortable places. Due to effort of sanatorium management and basic founder, JSC "Tatenergo", sanatorium develops fast. In the last ten years annually 20 m rubles were allocated for reconstruction, upgrading of material – technical base of the company.

Substation 110 kV "Novo-Kremlevskaya"

In Tatarstan capital the construction of the new substation completed, the 110 kV "Novo- ". It replaced the old substation "Kremlevskaya", equipment of which did not meet the new requirements. Total capacity of the new substations is 80 МW, by 2.7 higher than the capacity of the former one. The equipment from leading producers is accommodated inside the building , and transformers are noise-proof, and do not disturb population. SS "Novo-Kremlevskaya" is reliable in operation and simple in use. The substation would allow to both increase the reliability of electricity supply for downtown and meet the growing demand in electrical capacity . Substation commissioning was contemporized to Kazan jubilee in August.

The first bucket of land was taken out the pit of the future complex GTU-75 on the territory of Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant. Project of modernization of Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant of JSC "Tatenergo" is realized together with JSC "Nizhnekamskneftehim" (NKNH) and JSC "TAIF". It implies transfer of the cogeneration plant to gas-turbine technology, which would allow to reduce production losses and specific consumption of the fuel. In 2004 the contract was signed with year General Electric (USA ) for supply of GTU for Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant. First stage of reconstruction of the station implies its equipping with the three gas-turbine installations, the total capacity of which will be 75 MW of electrical energy. The pressing compressors will be supplied from Italy ("Nuovo Pignone" – branch of "GE"), the recovering boiler – (JSC "IK ZIOMAR", Podolsk) and part of accessory equipment will be of domestic production. Commissioning of the installations is scheduled for November, 2006.

Repairs on aerial lines 110 kV on the bridge across Izh river

Power engineering specialists of Tatarstan made unique repair works на on aerial line 110 kV on transfer across river Izh. In the course of repair works wee done – revision of the calms of thunder cables, line fittings. They were conducted as part of repair of aerial lines 110 kV, connecting substation Turaevo in Mendeleevsk region and Salaushi in Agryz region. Height of metal poles on this passage is 42 through 69 meters. Length of the one span of the cable, going above the water, is 930 м, and the entire length of the river passage - over 2.5 km. The works were done by specialists of JSC.

Project of modernization of Kazan cogeneration plant -1 gas-turbine installation (GTU), of total capacity 50 MW. Is completing. Both boiler –utilizes with stacks have been installed. The mounting of 90% of technological pipelines was completed, by 95% the construction works were done. Were mounted the pressing compressor station and basic equipment of compressed air facility. The personnel completed training in NNOU PRTPK "Energetik" and in Bezymyanskaya cogeneration plant in Samara. The furnishing of Kazan cogeneration 1kWh of electricity will reduce by over one and half times.

First gas-turbine engine at Kazan cogeneration plant -1

At Kazan cogeneration plant –1 the first gas-turbine engine arrived. By mid August was installed at Kaz cogeneration plant -1 the first gas-turbine engine, successfully tested on stand of the plant JSC "Motorostroitel" (Samara). By this time was completed the mounting of the shell of 0GTU-2 and generator, were mounted turbine block with entrance air clearing device, blocks of computerized control system oil supply and ventilation. First "cold" start up of GTU was at the end of the August.

At Zainsk condensation plant for the first time in the power engineering of Russia the installation of water ultra -filtration was tested. The installation of capacity 270 t/h is designed for preliminary processing the water at Zainsk water basin instead of the costly water from Kama, cleared by coagulation in clarifiers with further filtration through mechanical filters. The significant advantage of the installation is full absence in filtrate the suspended particles. First stage of testing the scheme of ultra- filtration was done together with specialists from NPP "Biotehprogress" on Kama river water. It proved that installation allows to reduce permanganate oxidation by 50%, and content of iron by up to 40-90 mkg/dm³.

Minister for Civil Defense and Emergencies of Tatarstan, major-general Valeri Vlasov highly appreciated the readiness of Republic power engineering specialists to emergency situations. The competent skills were shown by power engineering specialists during command training "Solution fro liquidation of emergency situation of technical character in Kazan". The simulation implied the accident in the plant "Orgsintez" with breaking the impermeability of nitrogen container and emission of poison into the air. As a result over Kazan energy entity was "hanging" the threat of the poisonous cloud, blown in direction of Kazan cogeneration plant -3. Though the thread was not real, it required serious reaction from the power engineering specialists. The personnel evacuation was organized with no panics. Attending personnel stayed on their working places. Protection facilities of the station worked in regeneration regime. At the background of the other companies of Republic the "Tatenergo" possesses high organization and skilled work of management and special divisions", – V Vlasov summoned up.

Opening of the new building of Tatar state university of teacher-training and humanitarian arts

Opening was held of the new building of Tatar State –Humanitarian – Teacher Training university gifted by power engineering specialists. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Sharipovich offered to transfer the former office of "Tatenergo" to Tatar state university of teacher-training and humanitarian arts in May 2004 when opening the administrative building of the energy company. Within the short time period the contractors, namely the construction company "Gran" and Chelny company "Intermaks" overhauled the major building. On the 4.5 th. m² of the training area al possible conditions were made for those who will provide progressive development of Tatarstan. M.Shaimiev thanked the power engineering specialists, and those who took part in reconstruction of the old and construction of the new building for TGPU.

"Engineering Center "Energoprogress LTD" was awarded two certificates "EnСЕRTIКО". The company underwent the inspections proving its conformity to requirements of voluntary system of certification in "EnСЕRTIКО". The validness of the first certificate applies to such activities as engineering services in the area of project-design and design-construction works, consultancy services in the area of project-design works. Second certificate is for logistics of devices for metering and adjusting the consumption of fluids and gas, creating the training software, profile journals, bulletins, posters for safe operations, training films and training aids for general technical classes.

Reconstruction of substation 110 kV "Sovetskaya"

The reconstruction of substation 110 kV "Sovetskaya" in Kazan completed. The substation was built in 1969 year and did not allow to solve the problem of energy supply to developing districts of the city: Privolzhski and Sovetski. Reserve of the installed transformer capacity of reconstructed substations 110 kV been increased by one and half times. The substation is a center of supply of electricity to construction of Kazan subway from south-east . Further on the operation of the subject will go with the upgraded substation "Sovetskaya -110". For extension of the distribution device 6 kV the existing general station control plant was moved to the new building. The relay protection underwent the root reconstruction on base of microprocessor technologies produced by NPP "EKRA" (Cheboksary), the new board for own needs also appeared with modern commutation facilities. As a source of operative current is used the newly amounted accumulator.

Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant was awarded Diploma of Rostehnadzor of Russia for input in environment protection

Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant was awarded Diploma of Rostehnadzor of Russia for inputв in environment protection. Award by Federal service for environmental, technological and nuclear inspection was given to the station for big input in development and utilization of projects in the area of protection of environment. In the first half of 2005 the Rostehnadzor of Russia and scientific-practical journal "Ecology of production" held competition "Best environmental project of the companies". Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant took part in the competition in nomination "Application of modern systems of management and technologies in the region of air protection". At the competition was presented the utilized at the stations project of use of technology of environmentally clean regimes of burning the fuel for inhibition of emissions of nitrogen oxides into the air.

Lab of environment protection at Zainsk condensation plant was accredited. By order of Federal agency for technical regulation and metrology 181 dd., 01.07.2005, the accreditation commission LOOS Zainsk condensation plant was assigned. During accreditation the commission stressed the high level of competence of the laboratory, and the act was signed about compliance with requirements of LOOS Zai condensation plant accreditation of analytical labs. The certificate of analytical lab is valid till 2010. The accreditation included: drainage waters, natural water, atmosphere, industrial emissions , air of the working area and physical factors of production environment. LOOS accreditation according to international standard ISO/MEK 17025 allowed to formally recognize competency of the lab.

Состоялось Meeting with representatives from TSZ and ZSK, Kazan

The meeting was held in JSC "Tatenergo" with representatives of Partnerships of house owners and housing-construction cooperatives of Kazan. The agenda included issues related to electricity supply to multi-apartment houses, servicing intra-house electrical grids, condition of consumed electricity. As one of the priorities in the area of ZKH was taken experience of "Zhilenergoservis, ltd", and director "Energouchet, ltd " told about the services related to installation, replacement, maintenance and repair of meters. Later, chairmen of TSZ and ZSK visited "Zhilenergoservis, Ltd" in N. Chelny in order to familiarize with modern methods of mutual relations between power engineering specialists and housing organizations. The meeting demonstrated to representatives of the housing organizations the power engineering specialists readiness to mutually beneficial business cooperation.

By order #389 of Cabinet Ministers RT dd., 3/08/2005 the JSC "Tatenergo" head quarters was transferred responsibilities for managing the companies of thermal grids (PTS) of six towns of Zakamie region of Republic: Almetievsk, Bugulma, Yelabuga, Zainsk, Zelenodolsk and Naberezhnye Chelny. Being economically low capacitive, the municipal companies of thermal grids cannot refurbish facilities themselves, and cost of generated heat much bigger compared to cogeneration plants. JSC "Tatenergo" was given responsibilities of taking actions for enhancing efficiency of property management, approving the results of financial and business activity, accounting reporting, concluding contracts with General directors of the companies, organizations of inventory of assets. According to these PTS each team of JSC "Tatenergo" works.

Journal "Power Engineering Industry of Tatarstan"

Kazan stations of JSC "Tatenergo" were named winners in city competition "Best company of 2005 - year of 1000 birthday Kazan foundation". Cogeneration plant -2 was named "Best power engineering copmany" for high results and big input in development if social infrastructure of the city, and Kazan cogeneration plant -1 was winner in nomination "Best Investment project". This was recognition of the value of utilization the project "Kazan-50", which stipulated the construction of the site of cogeneration plant of the two gas-turbine blocks of the capacity 25 MW each. Commissioning of the gas- turbine installation would allow to over one third increase generation of electricity in the capital of Republic, by 20% enhance cost efficient generation of electricity and reach the lowest in the power system specific consumption of fuel for distribution of electricity – 275-280 g/KWhr.

After founding the new periodical of th e power engineering specialists of Tatarstan the permanent information channel was founded, which channel connected the big power engineering, housing business, industry and construction of the Republic, science and authorities.

JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded Diploma "For results in work of enhancing efficiency and reliability of energy supply in capital of Republic of Tatarstan". Award from Ministry of economics and industry of RT, Kazan administration and JSC "Kazan Fair" was awarded after completion of XIII trade –industrial exhibition "Place of meeting – Kazan one-thousand-year-old". The specifics of the awarded Diploma again proves the high level of professionalism of the power engineering specialists of Republic and their work for the good of uninterrupted energy supply to consumers. The 36 th. people could familiarize with stands of JSC "Tatenergo" for increasing the reliability of energy supply.

Chief administration of Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia in Republic of Tatarstan inspected JSC "Generation company". Inspection of issues of civil defense, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations was done at Nizhnekamsk hydro power plant and Yelabuga cogeneration plant . For the work as part of commission headed by deputy head of Chief Office of MCS of МЧС Russia in RT, M.I. Ziganshin were invited the representatives of the Home Office, Rostehnadzor, Rosprirodnadzor, Ministry of Health care of RT, Ministry of ecology and natural resources in RT, Federal service for inspection in the area of protection of consumers tights and human well-being, National inspection of labor, Federal agency of cadastre of the real estate. Commission stressed the good training of personnel of the тstations and fixed the readiness of the subsidiary to solving problems in every day emergency situations and in transfer of civil defense to war times.

Freshmen of Kazan State Power Engineering University

Managers of the energy holding of Tatarstan delivered the very first lectures to freshmen of Kazan State Power Engineering university. Top managers of the energy companies headed by General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev familiarize the future power engineering specialists with the current structure of the energy association, reforms in the power system , modernization of its basics and future tasks. First lectures were delivered in the new training- lab building of university, build on financial support of JSC "Tatenergo" and RAO "UES Russia".

New building totaling 15,106.04 м², accommodates six auditoriums for 170 places, display rooms, labs, training cabinets. The rooms are nicely finished with modern materials by "Gran, ltd". To date the administration of the energy company and university work on the issue of building on basis of university the Regional center fro skills upgrading and energy specialists retraining for power systems of JSC "RAO "UES Russia" and JSC "Tatenergo".

Trade union of workers of Tatarstan power engineering industry

Trade union of the workers of the energy industry of Tatarstan celebrated its 40-th birthday . The jubilee ceremony of "Tatelektroprofsoyuz" was attended by trade union activists and veterans of each company of the industry, colleagues from neighboring industries and first managers of the energy holding. At the ceremony were named the winners of competetions, held under the aegis of "Tatelektroprofsoyuz". In 2005 they were: among the groups of primary organizations – the trade union group of substation "Kinderi" of Kazan electrical grids, among the workshops – the workshops of hydro facilities of outdoor communications of Zainsk condensation plant . The best youth organization of the industry was named youth of Kazan cogeneration plant -1. The awarded included the General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev, for active cooperation with trade union for development of social partnership awarded with Honorable scroll of the Council of Federation of trade unions of Republic of Tatarstan and jubilee medal of Federation of independent trade unions of Russia.

Was held the regular meeting of Board of Directors of JSC "Tatenergo". The Board of Directors chaired by first deputy prime-minister of RT - Minister of economics and industry of Tatarstan B. Pavlov considered execution of budget by the Company JSC "Tatenergo" for the first six months of 2005 and approved the budget for the next period of the current year. At the meeting were listened to the reports by deputies of general directors of the energy companies А. Salihov and Y. Schelokov about results of repair campaign and preparation to winter of the companies of big and utility power engineering.

Boris Pavlov highly appreciated the activity of the management company and on behalf of Government of Republic thanked the power engineering specialists fro good preparation of power engineering entities and for uninterrupted energy supply to capital of Tatarstan during celebration of the 1000-th birthday of the city.

Zainsk condensation plant has generated the record billion of kilowatt-hours of electricity. It is for the first time in the last 13 years. Efficiency of electricity generation on plant, as on purely condensation stations , is much higher compared to generation of electricity in condensation regime at any other cogeneration plant with cooling towers. Any change in operation of Zainsk condensation plant is instantly reflected on activity of each power station of JSC "Tatenergo" and impacts the results of the power system in the whole. In summer the condensation plant generates 50% through 60% of the total consumed electricity of Republic. Within 9 months of the current year the station generated 7 billion 100 m 392 th. kWh., sevenths part fell on April.

The first Board of Directors meeting of JSC "Kazan Thermal Grid Company" (КТК) was held to discuss the production issues in view of beginning of the business activity of the company . Regarding readiness of JSC "Kazan Thermal Grid Company", the business activity already started by general director of JSC "КТК" F.Fairushin and director of the company "Energosbyt" I. Zaripov. Board of Directors named its date - supply of heat to consumers the JSC "КТК" will start since 1 October, 2005. In view of this Ildus Zaripov told that each consumer, that received the heat from JSC "Tatenergo" through MUP PO "Kazenergo", necessary to terminate contracts with the former and sign them with Kazan municipal division "Energosbyt".

JSC "Volgaenergoproject-Samara" completed work on reasoning the investments for realization of project of ending construction of facilities of Nizhnekamsk water basin and hydro power plant for project mark 68 m. Results were sent for consideration to the Federal and Republican authorities and for expertise to respective departments. Total cost of project realization is 42,29 billion rubles in prices of 2001, of it the 68% are the compensation payments for buildings, land and woods.

Kazan Thermal Grid Company (КТК) started operation, it united under the single competent management the thermal grids of JSC "Tatenergo", municipal boiler houses and grids. Kazan Thermal Grid Company connected three Kazan cogeneration plants and three large regional boiler house into the single system of transportation of heat. JSC "КТК" took transportation of heat from source of its generation directly to entrances to the residential houses. It is expected that along the grids "Kazan Thermal Grid Company" up to 5 m. Gcal of heat will be transported per year. On 1 October the company opened the heating season in Kazan. Readiness of JSC "Kazan Thermal Grid Company" was pre-inspected co commission chaired by General Directors of JSC "Tatenergo" I.Fardiev.

To provide non-stop heat supply to consumers of township Urussu the "Urussu Thermal Grids, ltd" was founded. The basic activities of which are transfer and distribution of heat along the thermal grids from Urussu condensation plant, as well as keeping the required quality and quantity of the sold heat. Responsibilities for acceptance of the thermal grids of Urussu were imposed on JSC "Tatenergo" according to Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Republic of Tatarstan #407 dd., 18.08.2005. New subsidiary company of JSC "Tatenergo" shall effect efficient management by thermal grid business of the village, its competent maintenance and commissioning. Despite the fact that by the beginning of the heating season the houses and social sphere objects were given heat, the power engineering specialists still have to do paramount works related to upgrading and modernization of the entirely depreciated Urussu thermal grids.

On the JSC "Tatenergo" site the service for feedback with Republican population was designed

On JSC "Tatenergo" site the new service was introduced for feedback with public of Republic. It became a part of the realization of policy of information openness of the energy company aimed at reaching the mutual understanding and coordination in the issues of the services rending. Specifically, many questions are asked by consumers elated to replacement of the energy meters, settlement for electricity consumption , maintenance of intra-house grids. Now each subscriber of the electrical or thermal energy – either individual or an entity, may directly address the question to power engineering specialists. The issues are classified and sent for preparation of the competent answer of the managers of respective divisions of the power system . The answers for the FAQ are placed on the site.

In Naberezhnye Chelny started construction of the new substation 110/10 kV. It will improve the reliability of electricity supply to the companies of processing industry, located in construction site "Stroybaza". New substation is erected instead of the old, built in the 70' s of last century, which equipment was obsolete. New substation is furnished with the latest technological equipment, which will result in quality of energy supply and would allow to meet the growing volumes of consumption of electricity . The mounting works were done using sulfur hexafluoride switches and breakers, microprocessor protections, modern telemechanics devices. From substations the objects of first category of electricity supply will be reconnected, - LTD " Chelny - Broiler", state farm "Vesenni", GUP "Gorzelenhoz" and the other consumers of "Stroybaza".

Companies of the energy holding of Tatarstan are accredited in the basic organizations of metrlogical services of power engineering and electrification. JSC "Generation Company" and JSC "Grid Company" were registered as accrediting bodies for the right of calibration. Accreditation certificates and certificates of registration have been issued to the companies on basis of positive results of inspection of metrological services for technical competence, organized by JSC "Engineer center of power engineering of Urals". It was conducted in September this year by special commission, including competent specialists of the neighboring energy systems - JSC "Bashkirenergo" and JSC "Samaraenergo", as well as FGU "Tatarstan TSM" and "Firm ОР condensation plant " – branch of Engineering Center UES.

On 11–13 October , the structure of the metrology services of the newly founded companies was approved on the seminar of metrology staff of the power engineering industry of Russia in the firm "ОРCONDENSATION PLANT" (Moscow). Engineering support is provided by metrology services of "EC Energoprogress, Ltd" and "Energometering, Ltd".

General director of JSC "Tatenergo" I.Fardiev was included in the list of the most professional managers of Russia. He ranked second among leaders of energy industry rating "TOP-1000 most professional managers of Russia", developed by Rating Agency of Association of managers of Russia (AMR).

In drawing up the VI release of ratings, over 430 experts took part, representatives of the profile agencies, non-profit industry and regional associations, investment companies and banks , rating and information agencies, business media. Results of the rating of professional efficiency of the head of Tatarstan power company constituted 4, 842 points and Ilshat Fardiev occupied the honorable place in group "А".

The first "hot" was done of block #2 of gas –turbine installation of capacity 50 MW at Kazan cogeneration plant -1. Start-up was done by personnel of Kazan cogeneration plant -1 with participation of specialists from companies-suppliers of the power equipment . During the first start-up of GTU it was shifted to idle regime without generator energizing.

Practically at the same time in Samara gas –turbine engine NK-37 was successfully tested on stand, it is intended for first block of gas-turbine installation at Kazan cogeneration plant -1.

Diploma for utilization "System of environmental management"

Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant was awarded Diploma of JSC "RAO "UES Rossii" for utilization of "System of Environmental Management ". Award was given at 2-nd international science-practical conference "Ecology in Power Engineering Industry -2005", held in Moscow. In 2004 the economical effect from realization of "nature conservation" innovative proposal was 3 m 769 th. rubles, which figure was over by 1 m. rubles the savings for the 3 previous years. Physical consumption of the water for production needs decreased by over 8.5 m³, for the 4 years it constituted 31.4%.

Committee for ecology, natural resources and land use of the National Council of Tatarstan Republic recommended the Cabinet of Ministers of RT to submit to parliament the report about rational level of Nizhnekamsk water basin. Such a decision was made on results of the visit to Nizhnekamsk station on 26 October of the big group of deputies of National Council of Republic headed by chairman of this Committee Rinat Abdullin. Trip by people deputies to the resonance entities of the power system was organized by initiative of administration of JSC "Tatenergo" and Ministry of economics and industry of Tatarstanа, Committee . After studying the problems , related to planned elevation of level of water basin to projected mark 68 m, Committee of ecology, natural resources and land use of National Council of RT advised the Tatarstan government to present to parliament proposals agreed upon with nature conservation bodies, administrations of the towns holding interest, with respective environmental and financial -economical studies.

In JSC "Tatenergo" the conference "Alternative forms of discussions solution. Arbitration court". Were attending the leading lawyers of Republic of Tatarstan, university educators, working in Arbitration energy court (ТES). The meeting was opened by Chairman of Supervisory Council of TES - General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" I.S.Fardiev . In his speech he summoned up some results of the court work for 2.5 years. "Results of Republic of Tatarstan in energy court" - Ilshat Shaehovich said.

The actions started for connection of JSC "Tatelektroset" to JSC "Grid Company" according to с requirements and the Federal Law #208 dd., 26/12/1995 "About joint stock companies" and the Law of RSFSR #948-1 dd., 22/03/1991. "About competition and restriction of monopoly on the commodity markets".

General Director of the Unified Office of Middle Volga Mr. Anatoli Batov

New general director of unified control office of Middle Volga Anatoli Batov visited Regional dispatch office of "Tatenergo". In terms of reforming and entrance of JSC "Tatenergo" upon the wholesale market of electricity, the RDU becomes the basic center of concentration of technological processes of the power system. Regarding this, the significance of the dispatch service is in\creasing. "I trust the experience and high skill of the staff of Central dispatch service of JSC "RDU Tatenergo", I do not doubt that they will manage the tasks . We have many young staff" - Anatoli Olegovich said in his interview.

At Kazan cogeneration plant -1 the hot start of block #2 of gas turbine installation with connecting of generator to the grid. Duration of work of GTU-25 #2 under the load was 4 hr. 27 min. The first cold start up of GTU-25 #1 on base of aviation engine NK –37 as done. Start up pf the second block of gas turbine installation was done with successful reaching the nominal capacity 25,2 MW. The implementation on the old station of the Tatar power system - Kazan cogeneration plant -1 the project of GTU-50 MW became in Tatarstan and Prikamie the first experience of construction of the new and modernization of existing stations of this efficiency, size and good ecological qualities.

Mounting equipment on gas -turbine installation GTU-75

JSC "Nizhnekamskheftehim" started mounting of equipment on gas-turbine installation GTU-75. By this day at the stations the mounting of carcass of pressing gas compressor was completed, foundation of the cable elevations. In November the gas compressors were installed in compressor rooms. At the upper level of major building the installation of boiler-utilizes started. Completion of first stage of reconstruction of cogeneration plant is planed for November 2006. we expect the annual saving of natural gas in - 200-250 m3, which figure equals its consumption by Nizhnekamsk town.

At Kazan cogeneration plant -2 the first column of carcass of newly built boiler was completed. One of the significant works are the updating boiler and turbine equipment at Kazan cogeneration plant -2. Commissioning of modernized boiler unit would allow to increase the generation of electricity in the electricity deficient region of the city , and promote construction of the new steam turbine of capacity 100-120 MW. After reconstruction the capacity of boiler aggregate will increase till 320 t/h on gas and 270 t/h – on the coal. The term of the commissioning – 2007.

"Power Engineering Industry and Resource Conservation-2005"

JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded three awards on base of implementation of Republican target program "Energy Conesrvation in RT for 2000-2005 years". "For realization of industry Program of Energy Conesrvation in the companies of power system and saving of fuel" the JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded with Diploma of Cabinet of Ministers of RT. Letter of thanks on behalf of Government of RT and personally from Prime-Minister of RT R.Minnihanov were awarded to director of Naberezhnye Chelny cogeneration plant S.Tyuklin and director of Nizhnekamsk cogeneration plant R. Husainov. Awards were given at the meeting of Cabinet Ministers of RT, held as part of 7-th specialized exhibition "Power Engineering Industry. Resource Conservation – 2005".

"Zhilenergoservis, ltd"

LTD "ZhilEnergoServis" (ZHES) for the first time participated in 7-th international exhibition "Power Engineering Industry and Resource Conservation - 2005". Limited liability company " ZhilEnergoServis " was founded on initiative of JSC "Tatenergo" in summer of 2004 as part of reforming the housing –utility business. Exposition of ZES included 5 divisions: "Analysis of average monthly consumption of electrical energy in residential houses of Naberezhnye Chelny", "Organization of the meter at input- distribution devices (VRU) – 0.4 kV of 9-storey house. Energy conservation technologies, used in the house", "Samples of gathering of electricity meters ", "Methods of installation of electricity meters", "Methods of installation of cold and hot water consumption metering".

"Energy Conservation in RT for 2000-2005"

JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded Golden Diploma on base of results of 7-th international exhibition "Power Engineering Industry and Resource Conservation - 2005". The awards of Ministry of economics and industry of Republic of Tatarstan the Center of conservation technologies of RT in Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan were given "for development and utilization of the new generation technologies in nomination "Products with new or improved characteristics in terms of minimization of specific consumption of fuel-energy resources in their production". New technologies, utilized by power engineering specialists of Tatarstan in the last years were presented at the exposition of JSC "Tatenergo". Tatarstan power engineering specialists were awarded the Diploma "For significant, stable results in energy and resources conservation". The energy company of Tatarstan was given 5 awards.

The regulation was pronounced at the Board of Directors of JSC "Tatenergo" meeting "Basic principals of organization and activity of holding company JSC "Tatenergo", which will regulate the allocation of responsibilities and power between the parent company and branches, in the first turn - JSC "Generation company", JSC "Grid company" and JSC "RDU "Tatenergo". The document specifies the centralized functions that JSC "Tatenergo" exercises.

Second issue of journal "Power Engineering Industry of Tatarstan"

The issue of journal "Power Engineering Industry of Tatarstan", covering the problems of energy conservation, was published. The journal is opened with the article "Saving through the costs". It includes basic dimensions of realized in JSC "Tatenergo costs management program". The leading place in the journal occupy materials about the innovations in the power engineering industry. The article "New trends in building the electrical distribution grids" are considered the new technologies and the developments, which extensive utilization results in creating the electrical grids of new generation meeting the requirements of the 21 century.

Videos shot Tatarstanа by power engineering specialists were recognized at the All-Russia forum. This action was organized by Federal agency for culture and cinematography, Center of cinema propaganda and "Movie- security Ltd". Videos, designed by video-comp service of "EC "Energoprogress, ltd" , were awarded prize and scroll for active effort in movie propaganda of security. Video studio presented its movies at the competetion for themes - safe environment and labor protection. The video computer service was founded in 1993 by initiative of technical managers of the power system of Tatarstan. The studio became the laureate of international competitions and winner of the five golden medals of VDNH. Over 200 videos wee shot.

On the name of general director of JSC "Tatenergo" I. Fardiev the letter of gratitude came from vicar of Holy-Voznesenski Makariev monastery. In it Farther Superior Gleb thank the energy company for help in regeneration of transmission lines of monastery. After transfer of former departmental grids to JSC "Tatenergo" the solution was made to reconstruct the electricity supply to monastery using self-carrying insulated cables (SIP). These hard works were done by Tatarstanа power engineering specialists in October this year. The SIP mounting on the new line was done manually. Total length of the transmission lines is 3 km, 0.5 km directly on the territory of the monastery . Power engineering specialists also installed the new transformer substation of 160 kW.

For activity in realization of state environmental policy in Russian Federation, the Department of social development and environment care of Russian Federation Government awarded the General Director of JSC "Generation company" Ilshat Shaehovich Fardiev with honorable medal "For achievements in environment protection". The organizing committee included representatives of Federal ministries, agencies and services, profile committees of Federation Council and Duma of RF, managers and specialists of leading public ecology organizations, famous researches I the area of protection of environment, rectors of big profile universities of the country. As a result of nature conservation actions by energy company of Tatarstan, the polluting emissions into the air compared to 1998 reduced by 4,3 times, and utilization of water and fuel meters allowed to decrease by 20% the consumption of water for production needs, by two times reduce consumption of water fro drinking and household needs. In 2005 over 60.0 m. rubles were allocated for nature conservation activities.

By Order of President of Republic of Tatarstan three workers of the Tatarstan power system were given honorable titles. Honorable title "Eminent power engineering specialist of Tatarstan Republic" was awarded to worker of JSC "Regional Dispatch Office "Tatenergo" Tatiana Nikolaevna Efimkina, senior dispatcher of the power system and to Valentin Mihailovich Lopuhov, head of Central service of relay protection and automation. Specialist пресс-center а JSC "Tatenergo" Evgeni Alexandrovich Kanaev for achievements in photography art was awarded the title "Eminent worker of culture of Tatarstan Republic". These high awards became appreciation of professionalism and V.Putin awarded to First Deputy General Director –director for economics and finances of JSC "Tatenergo" G.M. Minnehanova with the title "Eminent economist of Russian Federation". The company was one of the first in Russia to utilize in 2000 the system of budgeting, which allowed to enhance the transparency of financial flows, improve accounting and control over financial activities of power system companies. In 2001 marked utilization of complex integrated information control system on basis of ISU "Parus". Efforts by management of the energy company regarding, first the financial recovery of the industry, аnd later its reforming, brought the power system to significant results. The reached economical and technical potential of JSC "Tatenergo" allows to pretend to leading positions on the energy market of Russia.
