Ministry of Land and Property of Republic of Tatarstan registered the State Unitary Company "Tatelektroset". It united 17 companies – now the branches of the city electrical grids of Republic .

The first meeting of the Arbitration Energy Court was held, its mission is to settle the economical arguments, raising basically in association with either default or undue fulfillment of the agreement on power supply.

A new method of settlements was used for population, living in the private houses and cottages in the rural Tatarstan, by conversion to the monthly payments on basis of the notifications, delivered to private subscribers by mail.

The company of Kazan electrical grids closed down the SS "Gorodskaya" and reconstructed the substation "Kazankа" – 2 power transformers were installed and the feeding line 110 kV.

For the first time in "JSC "Tatenergo" at Nizhnekamsk CO-GENERATION PLANT-1 there was upgraded the flowing part of the turbine R-100-130/15 with replacement of the axial-radial shroud rings by the radial-cell ones, which equals to commissioning of the additional capacity of 5-6 MW.

The company Naberezhnye Chelny electrical grids completed first stage of reconstruction of substation "Tsentr". For the first time in the town Naberezhnye Chelny the high voltage of 110 kV to a center of loads is input by the oil-filled cable 110 kV, and the middle voltage 10 kV has been supplied along the cable lines, laid in the pass collectors.

Negotiations between "JSC "Tatenergo"and "NEXANS" corporation'

JSC "Tatenergo" signed on strategic cooperation till 2009 with big cable producer, corporation NEXANS. The agreement stipulates the direst deliveries of the cables to Tatarstan. In 2004 662 km of the self-carrying insulated cables "Torsada" were supplied to Tatarstan.

2 representatives of the Republic power industry are the members of the National Council of Republic of Tatarstan . General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" I.S.Fardiev to the Deputies of the National Council in the one-mandate Zainsk electoral community #38, and the Director of Kazan electrical grids I.H.Gaifullin was elected on basis of the votes of the Party "United Russia".

JSC "Tatenergo", JSC "KMPO" and JSC "Sumskoye Machine –Building NPO named after M.V.Frunze" conducted negotiations for joint production of the power gas-turbine facilities for small power engineering. It was e result of visit of Tatarstan delegation to Sumy, they got interested in experience of the company, which created their own power station on basis of the 18 MW gas-turbine drive produced by KMPO.

JSC "Tatenergo" and Administration of Naberezhnye Chelny decided to use the expertise of Denmark in using the energy conservation technologies in supply of electricity and heat to the towns. This was a topic of the meeting in JSC "Tatenergo" attended by representatives of the Danish companies Danfoss, Grundfos, Kamstrup, Velux.

At the joint 14 April meeting of Academic Council of Kazan power engineering university and research council of JSC "Tatenergo" the agreement of cooperation was signed between the energy company and university, the basis for comprehensive relationship between JSC "Tatenergo" and University.

The power engineers awarded the teams of newspaper editorials and tele-radio companies of Zakamie for active participation in Republic competition among the mass media "Multi-Face Power engineering", held annually by JSC "Tatenergo" among the mass media of the Republic.

The new Office of JSC "Tatenergo" was opened, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev called it the symbol of creative work of the updated power engineering industry of Republic .

SS "Chistopol-220" was commissioned, which event was assessed by President of Tatarstan Mintimer Sahimiev as the valuable event for the Republic. Furnished with the state-of-the art technologies, the substation opens new opportunities for oil drilling, industry and agriculture development in Zakamie region, provides the high quality electricity and ensures the future of the region.

At Nizhnekamsk Hydro Plant the meeting of the Trustee Board ANO "MEKS" was held, at which meeting the decision was made to complete the projecting of feasibility study of investments for construction of the protective facilities for the water storage basin.

In .Naberezhnye Chelny there was established the new special service for servicing the intra-house electrical grids. The basic tasks were defined the next: the full maintenance of the intra-house meters of energy, their upgrading, which would enhance the quality and reliability of electricity supply to the residents.

JSC "Tatenergo" was paid visit by members of the Board of RAO "UES Rossii", by head of the Center for reforms Y.А.Udaltsov and Chairman of the Board of JSC "SО TDU EES" of RAO "UES Rossii" B.I.Ayuev. The guests visited the central control board and familiarized with operation regime of power system of Tatarstan.

On June 25 , the annual meeting of the JSC "Tatenergo" stockholders was held, at which meeting the annual report of the company was approved, as well as the annual accounting reporting, the audit commission was elected, the Auditor was nominated, the new members of the Board were elected. The decision was made to invest the profits of the power company in technical refurbishment, reconstruction and the new construction in JSC "Tatenergo".

During the first six months the Consortium of Russian institute of Directors and the rating agency "Expert-RA" - "RID - Expert-RA" - awarded the JSC "Tatenergo" the Rating В + "Mid level of corporate management". This means that the Company does not violate the applicable Russian laws in the area of corporate management.

Representative of JSC "Tatenergo" Damir Safiullin is a member of the Supervisory Council of the non-profit partnership "Administrator of the Trading System of the wholesale market of electrical energy" of the Unified Energy system. He was n9ominated by energy company of Tatarstan and was elected on basis of the list of Chamber of energy suppliers of NS ATS. JSC "Tatenergo" is among the 100 Companies of Russia, concentrating around itself the big cash flows in the rating compiled by RBC Rusbusinessconsulting) and based on the profits of the Company in 2003.

At the substation "Kinderi"-500kV the JSC "Tatenergo" commissioned the entire complex of basic, reserve protections and new automation, the process of input of microprocessor protections at each level of voltage 10 kV - 500 kV has finished.

The Board of JSC "Tatenergo" made decision to reform the departmental guard of the Company and establishing the guard Company "Energoschit Ltd".

The meting of the Board of Directors was held, which approved the report on fulfilling the budget for 6 months and approved the opening of the new branch of the Company - TatAISenergo, which function will be to provide informational and technological support for JSC "Tatenergo" and for its subsidiaries.

To the aim of upgrading the Nizhnekamsk CO-GENERATION PLANT - 1, the JSC "TAIF", "Nizhnekamsk " and JSC "Tatenergo" concluded agreement on opening the joint company " Neftehim - Energo Ltd". The entire gas and turbine complex will be integrated into the existing infrastructure of CO-GENERATION PLANT - 1. In Aktanysh there were conducted negotiations related to raising the level of Nizhnekamsk and the mangers of the 3 republics agreed to prolong the signed in July of 2003 agreement for operation of the water storage basin at the mark 63.3+0.2 m.

JSC "Tatenergo" started in Kazan the construction of the heat line on basis of the latest technologies. The insulated by foam polyurethane and the outer protection polyethylene shell, the heat lines will go along the streets Tihomirnogo - Vishnevskogo, Baturina – B. Krasnaya – Theater square - Zhukovskogo.

JSC "Tatenergo" took the thirty third place in the rating of "One hundred biggest companies of Russia", prepared by center АК&М and the journal "Company". The company was chosen from among 100 leading Russian companies.

In JSC "Tatenergo" the intra-departmental meeting was held, where the issue of the Zainsk water storage basin was discussed, which project had been developed by the Middle Volga Research Institute "Volgaenergoproekt-Samara".

The rating of the journal "Finance" of the "500 biggest companies of Russia" ("Finance - 500)showed that the power Company of Tatarstan was among the ten best among the 25 leading regional companies. For 2005 for JSC "Tatenergo" were established the limit tariffs: for electrical energy - 871 ruble for 1,000 kWh, for heat - 232.3 rubles for Gcal. The tariff for electricity for population is 940 ruble for 1,000 kWh. Maximal tariffs for electrical energy will be 884 rubles, for heat - 246.2 rubles. Maximal tariff for electricity for population – 1,060 rubles.

In JSC "Tatenergo" the scientific conference "Efficient Power Enginering" was held, attended by representatives of the leading research institutes and power engineering universities of Russia, our foreign neighbors, and managers of power service companies. The basic tasks on the forum held for the 15-th anniversary of EC "Energoprogress" of JSC "Tatenergo" were – fast exchange of information on the needs of the power industry under reforms, contributing to production integration and economical cooperation of the scholars and power engineering staff in developing the industry.

In JSC "Tatenergo" the ХV Republic election conference of Tatarstan electrical trade union was held. It was attended by Chairperson of Federation of Trade Unions, Ms. Tatiana Vodopianova , the Chairperson of public alliance "All-Russia electrical trade union" Valeri Vahrushin , General Director JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev , directors of entities. It was remarked that the coefficient of workers of the power system was increasing and was 1.84 at the level of living in the Republic of 0.98.

At N.C. CO-GENERATION PLANT the competition started between the shifts for operation of the basic and additional equipment, which will be held till May 2005 under the slogan "Jubilee of Great Victory – our work!".

On December 17, 2004 the Contract was signed to join the wholesale market of electrical energy between the non-profit partnership "Administrator of the Trading System" and JSC "Tatenergo", which would allow the JSC "Tatenergo" to participate in the free sector of the wholesale market of electrical energy.

On December 24, FSFR of Russia registered the decision on the issue of the owner interest non-convertible documentary bonds of JSC "Tatenergo" of series 01 of par value of 1,000 rubles each in the amount of 1,500,000, placed by the open subscription.

Ministry of Land and Property of Republic of Tatarstan, JSC "Tatenergo" and Administration of Kazan concluded the foundation contract on establishing the JSC "Kazan Thermal-Grid Company".

Four grid companies of JSC "Tatenergo" - Bugulma, Nizhnekamsk , Chistopol and Privolzhskiye electrical grids marked their 40-th, Nizhnekamsk CO-GENERATION PLANT -2 and Nizhnekamsk Hydro Plant - 25-the anniversary from the day of commissioning.
